Must learn to be smarter!!

Seriously, when will I ever learn to be smarter?

When will I ever learn to not do stupid stuffs??

Every time I do something stupid/funny/memalukan, my friends will be like -.-. and I would be 'What laa..first day you know me meh.. I tot you should be used to it by now!!'

Everyone who knows me well always tells me, 'Mun, after so long of knowing you, you still amazes me with the stuffs you can do..'

And Cher once said 'Today I did something stupid and I felt like you'

Hahahahha that sentence was damn funny and insulting as well lo!! Lol shows that I really am stupid :(

Ok so guess what stupid thing I did today?

I locked myself OUT of my own bedroom, with all my hp and wallet and car keys in the room. Thank god the house keys was with me, orelse I will be locked in my own house but out of my room.

Can anyone be stupider than me?

I panicked so badly, trying to use anything I could find to try to open the door but failed. I couldn't call anyone because my hp was locked in the room. I couldn't drive out to get help because my car keys was locked in the room. LIKE WTF I wanted to cry. No one was at home at that time, I was left all alone.

So I decided to go down to the management office and told them my memalukan story. Omg I felt so embarrassed ok. They must be thinking 'where got people so stupid one!!'

Haha but they were so nice to send a technician up to my unit and he laughed when he heard my story :(( *sobss* Then after trying to open it for so long, he decided to break the lock. LOL I didn't mind at all!! As long as I could get my wallet and car keys.

I went to a hardware shop to get a new door knob and the technician was so kind to fix it for me. Hehe so it was the end of the disaster that I created. Now everything is back to normal. One lesson I learnt, is to place my spare keys OUTSIDE the bedroom in the hall or something because people like me will definitely do something stupid again in the future!!!!

This isn't the first time I did something like this. Previously, I locked myself out in the balcony in my house. And no one was at home also!! So I had to stand outside for 2 hours to wait for someone to come back to open the door for me. And in that 2 hours, it rained and shined! So I was like wet and dry again. Like wtf.

Please la be smarter next time ok!!! Stop doing stupid stuffs ok!!

And yesterday was the day that we were finally done with our placements in Hospital Sultanah Aminah, JB.
We were so happy! Finally we dont have to wake up at 6.30am every morning.

Yesterday was an interesting day at the ward. I saw a patient with thalassemia.

Another patient with a missing eye. I wasn't sure what was the reason, whether it was due to severe trauma to the eye or cancer, and I had no time to clerk her case because in the afternoon when I was back in the ward, she had already transferred to another ward.

And another HIV positive patient. She is only 28 years old! And she refused to speak about her medications because I guess she was afraid of us knowing, but she decided to tell us after that.

The ward was so so crowded. Any empty space that is available, they would place a bed there. Seriously, I feel kesian for all the patients la. Its so stuffy and hot and crowded.

And the patients here think that anyone wearing the white coats are doctors. They kept calling me 'yi shen!'
And after telling them that I am not a doctor, I'm a pharmacist, 5 minutes later, they will start calling me doctor again. Like wtf. I'm so lazy to tell them that I'm a doctor already la -.-

Anyway the last day ended smoothly. Did my case presentation and all was good.

At night after work, we decided to celebrate for our last day.

Finally an excuse to dress up! :)

I did my research and found a small cozy cafe serving Western food, called Food Republique and decided to give it a try.

*Chargrilled Beef Double Cheesy Burger* rm20.90

*Pan Fried Butter Fish Milk*

*Fish and Chips*

Food was all good, and price wise was affordable. It was a good dinner with good company!

*Ker Min - my hospital placement partner!*
The best partner I could ever have! Always doing funny stuffs with me, following me whenever I wanna ponteng work, always coming up with plans to try to go home early or run away from our department to go jalan jalan hahaha. Work would never be the same without you! :)

*Our group picture*

I'll be going back to KL next Wednesday (which is also our 2nd year anniversary, finally going to be celebrating it with him :)) Then I'll get to spend the remaining week with dear before I start classes in Monash Sunway again on the following Monday. While dear would be starting work in his new workplace on Friday.

Now I'm just gonna enjoy my holidays before all the hectic work starts again!

Till next time! :)

Almost the end of my 3 weeks! Can't wait!

After working for 2 weeks, I have concluded that I do not like going for ward rounds anymore!!

In the beginning, I was always damn super excited everytime I heard that we could go on ward rounds, but after going for multiple times, I kind of got bored of it.

Plus the wards are so damn disgusting and SMELLY. I have no idea what smell. Its like urine smell at times, vomit smell and patients with gangrene with their rotten legs seriously stinks. There were so many occasions where I seriously couldn't bare with the smell and almost puked. Blehhhh

Once, I went into the Neuro ICU and was clerking a patient with brain tumour. A nurse came halfway and started doing disgusting procedures to the patient and I really couldn't take it. She placed a vacuum tube at the patient's neck and started sucking out whatever that looks like pus plus blood plus I do not know what. I almost puked on the patient. I was trying so hard not to look but its right in front of my eyes @@

Thats the reason why I am not a doctor.

There was another case where my patient was only 10 years old and he was in the pediatric ICU for infective endocarditis and stroke due to CVA. He started crying when he saw me! His parents were not there and I had no idea what to do :( So heart breaking to see him crying because he was in so much pain. All I could do was call the nurse who came and comforted him :( Sob sob so sad to see young patients suffering like this.

And one thing I learned is that we are not allowed to wear our white coats into the pediatric wards because it would scare the kids! Haha we are supposed to act like normal people, like friends trying to talk to them then they will open up more to us :)

I will be stuck in the ward for 2 whole days starting tomorrow. Omg dreading it so badly. I have to bear with the stench the whole entire day. Kill me please :(

Hopefully I don't get bombed by the clinical pharmacist tomorrow. 2 more days and I'm done in this hospital!!! Can't wait!!!!

V Day

It wasn't so bad after all because this made my day :)

Never would I expect something like this. Even though I was home alone on Valentines day eating steamed vegetables for dinner, while everyone else is out enjoying their romantic dinner with their date, but when I saw this bouquet of flowers delivered to me, it totally made my day :)

Thank you dear, for ALWAYS making the effort to do something on this day, whether I'm by your side or not. Last year when I was in Melbourne, you secretly told Nian to pass a present to me and it was seriously a total surprise to me. This year, even though I'm far away, you still surprise me with this bouquet. Thank you :)

All his presents have a special meaning. He gave me a watch last year to remind me to 'wait for him for 6 months'.

This year, 10 roses which means 十全十美 (which means you're perfect)
Where got bf so sweet one??! Omg gonna melt d lo!!

I know roses on Valentines day is gonna be so expensive and so not worth the money. But hey which girl doesn't like receiving roses once in a while? Once a year isn't too much right? :)) I'm sure every girl will love roses, even if you say you don't mind not receiving as its just gonna die in a few days, but deep down, when you received it from someone you love, its a really really happy feeling :)

I still remembered every single occasion that he gave me roses.

1 rose - on our 1st month

3 roses- on our 3rd month

9 roses- when I came back from Melbourne

and 10 roses now.

He told me 'I will never downgrade the amount of roses I give you each time. So it will just keep increasing..'

I love you Teh Sze Hou :) No one can be as sweet as you :)

Happy CNY people!!

How was your CNY? :)

This year I did not have that CNY mood. All because of my stupid placement at JB Hospital right in the middle of CNY. All I did everyday before CNY was go to work come home and the next day to work again. And all I could think of was which department I will be for the next day :(

But on Friday, I ponteng-ed half day of work and came back up to KL! Whee initial plan was not going back to KL at all, but somehow plans were changed and I managed to ask for half day leave :P

It was only for 3 days because here am I again in JB, and needing to work again tomorrow!! On the 4th day of CNY. Blehhhhh :(

And BECAUSE OF THIS STUPID PLACEMENT, I will be celebrating Valentines day ALONE AGAIN!! Just great laaaaaa... Twice in a row. Last year was because I flew off to Melbourne, and this year is because of work. Ishhhhh sad me :(

I will just sit at home and eat maggi mee on valentines day :(

Anyway when I was back on Friday, I had my first Lou Sang of the year at Tai Thong in Subang. And dinner was Hou's friend treat! We had like shark fin, prawns, fish, crispy duck, and alot more that I couldnt remember.

*Our Yee Sang*
Hehe me being greedy was searching for all the salmon :P

Then after dinner, I kept complaining that I wanted Gong Cha, which the rest did not want so dearie took me to tapau and went back to YY's place to play Chor Dai Di cause I refused to go home so early :P Then all of them went for movie while I went back home after that :( Boo sad stupid curfew.

And I have nothing else to write about. Sorry my life is really all about work, eat and sleep these days. Will be back in KL in 2 weeks time and I will probably update by then.

Hehe sorry dear you will have nothing to read for another 2 weeks. Don't miss me too much. I will be back! For the time being, go play with your friends k? ;)

IMY :)
