Bukit Tinggi

I've always wanted to explore Bukit Tinggi because I've seen friends posting pictures of it and it looks like a super cool and relaxing place to chill and hang out. So during the Raya break, Hou took me there as promised :)

Our original plan was to stay for a night, but on that day itself, we decided to cancel our hotel booking. Hehe! Save money to spend it elsewhere! :P Darling says he will bring me back there again to stay in the super expensive hotel, The Chateau. Can't wait! :D

So, we set our alarm at 8am in the morning. We wanted to drive up there early in the morning and spend the whole day there. But ahem, both of us slept like pigs and we did not hear the alarm at all, and ended up waking at 10 am. Hahaha!!

Quickly got ready and by the time we left the house, it was already 12.30 noon :P So much for going early. LOL

*The bf washing his car before leaving, while I sit in and on the wiper :P*
Haha he has this habit of wanting his car to be 'shiny' before we go on any trips lol

*Picture before our journey began :P*

*My driver. Thankiew dear! :)*

We were expecting the roads to be clear because from our logic, when it is Raya, everyone will be back in their kampung right?? And not on the roads right?

But we were PROVEN WRONG!!
The journey was supposed to be about an hour and we took about 2.5 hours to reach!! See how jam it was!! Wtf man seriously!! We were already way out of schedule and we had to get stuck in the jam for so freaking long!!

Ughh... And as usual, after awhile, I just said my signature 'I sleep first ah, goodnite :P' with my cheeky smile and dozed off :P Hahahaha I know, Hou was expecting it already. Every single journey that we traveled together, I've always use that signature sentence of mine :P And he says I have the "ability/powers" to know when we are nearing destination and will just open my eyes and say 'yay reach already!' hahahah.

*Finally reached our destination!!The buildings are so pretty!!*

Parked our car and we waited for the shuttle bus to take us to the Japanese Tea Village. The wait was so torturing! It was blardy hot and crowded and the buses were so small it could fit approximately 20 people at once only. We waited close to 30 minutes before being able to board one.

Had to climb steep hills to reach the top!

First thing we did was to locate the Japanese Restaurant that I've read online about people's reviews while doing my research.  We both were hungry like mad and we haven't eaten anything since the day before, and by the time we reached the restaurant it was already 3.30pm!!

Super comfy and chilly environment, overlooking a tropical forest. Thumbs up for the environment!!
The hanging cloth fishes reminds me of one of the TVB drama about sushi making one! Hehe

*The view we had from our table :)*

*Green Tea*

*Sipping our hot green tea while enjoying the view :)*

*I ordered their unagi bento set*

*Hou had their beef teriyaki bento set*

The food was really really good. It was a good meal! We sat there for about 2 hours just enjoying our food, chatting, enjoying the view. Thats what I call LIFE! :)

But obviously it wasn't cheap. RM110 for the both of us. Haha so much for wanting to save money :P

After our tummies were feeling happy and contented, we went around exploring the Japanese Village.

*KOI fish!*

We were done in about 1 hour and decided to catch the shuttle bus back to the French-themed village.

*While waiting for the shuttle bus, I took Hou's shades and gave my lanci look muahahaha*
Waited for about 30minutes also ok! So annoying this stupid shuttle thing!!

Forced the boy to take a picture because I said 'after people think I came here alone laaaa'

*Pink colored windows and walls!! :D So pretty!!*

When the sky got darker, omgggg so pretty!!! Its like a big castle!!!

*Guess what were they looking at??*

*SWANS!!!*
And they eat everything that the public gives. McD fries, leaves ahahhaha so cute!!

My first time getting so up close with swans hehehe :P

*Why so fierce??*
LOL we found a spot in a cafe, and our plan was to sit and sip some tea while enjoying the environment but the cafe didn't allow!! They said we had to order something to eat in order to sit down. Waliao where got such rule. So we decided that we did not want to sit anymore. Boooo :(

*Walked to the entrance and saw this water fountain :P*

Most of the pictures are pictures of me because darling was the photographer the whole time and we were abit paiseh to ask strangers to help us take photos. So yeah sad :(

The sun was setting and so we decided to leave the place as there was nothing else we could do.

*Last picture before leaving!!*
Really very pretty right!!
Bukit Tinggi, I promise I will be back, when there is less people and less crowded. And the next time we are back, we will be staying in The Chateau! This is the promise Hou made to me :)

The drive back to KL was quick. No jam at all.

For dinner, Hou took me to Damansara Uptown to try their famous Cantonese Yin Yong and Hokkien Mee.

And that concludes our one day trip to Bukit Tinggi.
