Right after coming back from Bali, I had post Bali depression syndrome ok! Even when I was there, I wished time would stop and I could just enjoy every moment slowly at my own pace.
So whats the best thing about Bali? Our own private villa! Yeap that's the one thing I missed the MOST! All the memories, the games, the jokes, the celebrations will forever be remembered :) I just want to go back there, rent a villa and just stay there for a week :( How I wish I could.
And the worst thing about Bali? Their snorkeling. 'The water is worse than my toilet bowl water.' Lol quoted from Chern. Fishes there were afraid of us. None wanted to come near us, but to begin with, there were too few fishes anyway. I think we snorkeled for 15 minutes only then gave up cause theres nothing to see. Sigh.
And another thing was, we were poor like crap. Yes poor until cannot sit taxi and had to walk 2 km back to our hotel. Lol but it was a good experience though. Fking SCARY but good, if you know what I mean. Lol somehow most of us miscalculated our money and didnt bring enough money there so we had to go on budget like after the 2 nights stay at the villa.
Anyway starting with~
DAY 1
Reached the airport at noon and our driver was already waiting for us at the arrival hall. Up we went into the van and the driver took us for lunch.
*This was on the ceiling of the restaurant. I find it fascinating :P*
Lunch was western style. Food was just okay. And I don't remember the name of the restaurant. But one thing though, I love the environment. The big wooden tables and chairs, water sound from the fountain, surrounded by trees.
*Ordered the pork chop and shared it with Hou*
After our tummies were feeling happy and full, we continued our journey to Canggu which was where our villa was situated at. One thing I realized is Bali roads are freaking sempit and small and its always always jam!!
Our villa was approximately 30 minutes drive away and it started raining cats and dogs just before reaching. We were warmly greeted by 2 staffs outside our villa ready with 4 big umbrellas for us. Aww such good service! They came, gave us each an umbrella and helped us carry all our luggage into the villa. Then they opened the fridge and served us all our welcome drink. Hehe

After that, they left us and it was Villa-Exploring-Time. I was so so happy with the villa. It looks EXACTLY like the pictures I've seen online. Basically its a 3 bedroom villa, with 2 toilets. One for the master room, and the other as a sharing toilet upstairs. Theres actually another toilet which is totally open air, nearby the swimming pool area, with a shower and a toilet bowl. Haha so technically, theres 3 toilets la.
The whole villa is like made of glass. All the rooms and bathroom were fully glassed but with thick long curtains.
Ok picturesssss
*Villa Sandhya- the name of our villa*
*Theres this huge door and when you open the door, you will see this walkway that leads to the living room of our villa*
*Welcome to our villa! Its an open concept villa with a living room and kitchen just beside the swimming pool without any walls enclosing it, and upstairs theres another 2 bedrooms with a sharing toilet*
*Our kitchen/dining area comes with a fridge, water dispenser, toaster, microwave oven, coffee maker, blender and also speakers with usb port on our dining table which we blasted with music every night hehe*
*My master bedroom located downstairs. It was huge!!*
*And when I opened the door to the master room toilet, I was greeted by this HUGE bathtub. Its more like a jacuzzi size lo. Can fit 3 people comfortably. But sadly to say, I never once bathed in here because I prefer to use the open shower outside near the swimming pool after we were done playing in the pool every night haha :P*
*And our half-open air bathroom, with the toilet bowl area uncovered. Lol so when its raining, I cant use the toilet here*
*And this is our open shower and toilet bowl near the swimming pool area*
Everyone REFUSED to use this toilet bowl because it was toooo open. Lol like seriously la. Feels quite insecure. But I used it twice! When I had to pee while playing in the pool. So convenient cause I dont hav to run into my own room's toilet and wet the whole floor hahah. Maybe thats the use of this toilet bowl :P
*And the thing I love the MOST about this villa is our very own private pool!!!!!*
*Which is like right outside my master room. Imagine waking up to this view every morning <3>3>
Everyone was feeling very sleepy after the long journey here and since it was raining we couldn't do anything, so we suggested going back to our rooms to rest for 1 hour while waiting for the rain to stop before heading out for dinner.
*And when the rain stopped, me and my SSness began while waiting for the others to get ready*

One thing I super love about our pool is the platform at the side which allows us to stand in the pool without getting wet, and also allows us to sit there, chill and have beers IN the pool without needing to float all the time. I say, good design!! :D
*Echo Beach*
*So cool to watch the surfers!! I wanna learn how to surf too!!!*
Had our dinner by the beach for the next 2 nights.
*It was a candlelight dinner by the beach. Cher said 'nah jimbaran bay is something like that, so noneed to go jimbaran d. same thing only'. lol and yeap we ended up not going to jimbaran cause it rained on the day we wanted to go!!!! No fair :( Oh well, at least I had this for 2 days :)*
*Our food for the night. Chicken and Pork because me and Hou do not eat seafood haha*
It was a long dinner, surrounded by stray dogs. Lol if you know me, you will know that I'm damnnnn scared of dogs, especially big stray dogs, and there were like 4 dogs surrounding us. Crazy man, couldnt sit still and eat in peace. They were all trying to shoo the dogs away by using different languages. First was English 'go away' and the dogs did not listen, so we were saying 'eh maybe they understand bahasa indonesia because we are in bali!' so everyone went 'pergi pergi' at the dogs, but nah didnt work. It was somewhat funny talking to the dogs in Malay lol.
After dinner, we took a long stroll back to our villa, met an angmoh fella who knew how to speak in mandarin!! So cool!! He was very friendly, talked to us for awhile and told us he bought the villa just beside ours haha. And for the next 2 days we always wave at him everytime we saw him :)
Then when we reached our villa, it was my surprise birthday celebration which I wrote in the last post.
More pictures on that night ~
Doing the L.O.V.E
DAY 2
Woke up the next morning to the sound of plates and glasses clattering. Opened the curtains and peeked out, saw the dirty mess we made yesterday with unwashed plates and cups, and saw our maid trying to clean things up. So I went back to sleep. And 10 minutes later, I woke up, draw the curtains and voila SO CLEAN. Wtf she is like some magic cleaner or what?? Clean so fast one??!
*TADAH the magic she did. Table all set, ready for us to come down to have breakkie*
*Our maid/chef cooking us breakfast at our own kitchen*
My first time experiencing this. Feels very much like queen :D
*So thoughtful of her to place candles on the table and cover our food because ahem some of them were late for breakfast and she didn't want the food to go all cold*
*While me, who woke up already because she was making lots of noise in the kitchen, chilled on the couch overlooking the pool while waiting for my breakfast to be done* Tell me how to not love this villa!!
*Breakfast ready! Scrambled eggs*
*And toasted bread!! There were more. Lazy to take pictures cause we were late :P*
Washed up after breakie and it was the day we were having our half day Ubud tour. We were quite late and the driver was already waiting for us outside our villa. Haha he's seriously the BEST driver ever!! Driving us to wherever we wanted to go, and always waiting for us patiently without rushing us to be quick. So thats the reason we gave him quite a big tip on the last day :)
First stop - Batik Factory.
Watched the process of how batik is produced and was soooo fascinated by it.
2nd stop- Gold and Silver
Saw the process of how silver jewelries are produced and its not easy weih!! Now I know how to appreciate it more!!
*It had to be crafted one by one slowly to form the design! Need lots of skills and patience lo!*
*Tourist pictures hahhahah*
*And our very first group picture!!*
Next was Sukawati Market for souvenir shopping! I did my research and apparently lots of people mentioned that the best place to shop for souvenirs is this place so yeap we asked the driver to drop us there eventhough it wasn't included in our "tour". Hehe told you he's an awesome driver :)
It was such a hot day. And we were all being harassed non stop by the random sellers being super pushy trying to persuade us to buy their stuffs. Stuffs that we DO NOT need at all. But somehow I feel kesian for all these people. Poor thing have to stand in the hot sun, begging people to buy from them just to earn that few bucks for a living. I really wanted to help them, but if I help one, more will come right? And also I was running out of cash myself. Sigh....
We split into 3 groups cause its easier to walk that way and I went off with Hou, bought souvenirs for people and bought a few stuffs for myself. Fking cheap ok!! I bought like nice bangles for rm3 each!!? Where to get in Malaysia!! Then after an hour, we met back at the van.
All of us were starting to feel hungry so we asked the driver to bring us to the so called 'most famous' babi guling in Bali. Haha yeah I did my research okie! :D
*Warung Ibu Oka*
*And our first babi guling in Bali!*
*And coconut water because the weather was so freaking hot we almost melted*
*Ordered 2 different types of duck to share among us 7*
*And this is the only picture i captured of the paddy fields surrounding the place. Good place to dine at, but unfortunately we didnt get to sit longer and enjoy it :(*
Next stop was to drink the famous Kopi Luwak. I have no idea whats the name of the place because the driver brought us there, not part of my 'research' lol :P
*This is the animal that chooses and eats the best quality beans and shit it out for us to eat haha*
Something like that la. Forgot the whole story they were telling us ady.
Sorry for the blur picture, this animal moves too fast :P
We were given a small tour of the place, explained to us the process of making kopi luwak and lastly some taste of kopi luwak!
*Us, pounding the coffee beans*
More like posing with the stick hahahah :P
*And here comes the famous and blardy expensive kopi luwak*
Its like sourish and bitter, not my cup of coffee. haha I had to pour like half the jar of sugar inside to cover the bitterness :P
*And we were also given 11 small cups of different teas and coffees to sample for free*
We thick skin ask for another 11 more cause we had 7 people and they gave us. Lol so nice of them :P
This was fun though :P My favorite would be the mangosteen tea, and vanilla coffee. Hehe
*The last bit of sunset we managed to catch*
I have more pictures but I have no idea why all the pictures turned out to be different in color when I post it here so yeah I removed it.
Anyway Tanah Lot was amazing, especially when the sky was half dark half bright. So unfortunate that we couldn't watch the whole sun setting :( But oh well, gives me another excuse to come back to Bali another time :P
By the time we were done at Tanah Lot, it was already 7.30pm and yeah I mentioned earlier that it was supposed to be a half day tour, turned out to be a whole full day, and because of that we had to fork out quite a large sum for the 'extra charges'. Sigh even more poor now. But nonetheless it was a good day!! :)
Came back to the villa, headed out to the same beach for dinner and after that, POOL TIME AGAIN!
This time, we had apple cider, vodka and bintang beer to drink by the pool :) Hehe
It was only me, Chern, Cher and the guys that night because the other 2 was feeling tired after the whole long day tour that they just wanted to crash on the bed. Haha but you know me one la, once it comes to playing, I will have a HELL lot of energy :DD maybe for the first few days la then after that will die like no ones business :P
That night, all we did was have chats accompanied by alcohol by the pool, doing stupid stuffs like trying to make tornado (inside joke :P) , drinking beer underwater (which Chern succeeded eventhough it made her look damn stupid hahahhaha), and also non stop jumping into the pool (while holding our bikinis because its totally all string and no support at all lol insecure)
*Yeap thats me and my flying kick jump :P*
*Jump jump jump and hold your bikinis lol*

*We even took jumping burst shots*
I seriously laughed so freaking much that night. One of my happiest nights in Bali :) Thanks Cher and Chern ;P I love both of you superrrrr much!!! Maybe I am destined to get along with people having the letters 'C-H-E-R' lol. Just realised Chern is just Cher with the letter 'n'. haha ok enough of my rubbishh Hou, he didnt make me laugh, he was just the cameraman hahahahah :P Ok la good enough. He kept laughing at me whole night, instead of making me laugh lol.
After all our energy were drained from the laughing and screaming and jumping, we washed up, took turns to bathe by the 'open shower' outside and called it a night. Left the big mess for the maid to clean the next morning and died straight on my bed :P
DAY 3
I was the first to wake again as usual because I heard the maid coming to clean up our mess and cook breakfast for us.
And also because today we will be having our 'complimentary 15minutes massage'. I went for it first. Chose the back massage and it was awesome!! She pressed all my sore areas from the long day trip the previous day hehe. Too bad it was only 15 minutes!! I was gonna fall asleep already then she told me it was done. Booo :(
*Last time being able to wake up to this view because we will be shifting to another hotel today:(*
So saddddddd. I was madly in love with this place already :(
*Breakkie in the process!*
*And as usual, chilling by the pool while waiting for our breakfast to be ready :)*
Thats our master bedroom just opposite us hehe :P
*Love the feel of having breakfast together on the dining table. Feels so homely haha*
*My OOTD. Maxi dress day!!:D*
*3 pretty girls in their maxi :)*
*Love the stairs shot*
Our driver drove us to our next hotel, Best Western Resort Kuta.
*Its a nice place, considering we only paid like rm60/pax per night*
*Our room! The bed was so comfy!!!*
*Got plasma tv sumore. With nice channels to watch movies at night haha*
And the room was huge and super spacious!!
*Toilet*
Right after throwing our bags at the new hotel, we hired another driver+car, for a full day tour.
First stop, Mount Batur, Kintamani for the awesome scenery of volcanoes surrounded by lake. It was seriously a breathtaking view :)
We almost had to cancel our plans to Mount Batur because according to the driver, it was too late to go as the journey takes approximately 2 hours. But he was nice to take the trouble to drive us there at high speed. Lol it was scary la, he was speeding non stop, cutting lanes like a maniac but we made it there on time.
*Mount Batur*

*Had our buffet lunch there. Which we bargained the price until it was quite reasonable but when it was time to pay, we realized the tax was like 28%. wtf so high damn cheating. Lol we thought we were good at bargaining, manatau at last also kena cheated.*
*Food was just ok la. Not worth the price we paid but ok la at least there were some that were quite good*
More picture taking after we were done eating! Super love the view la. Plus its very cooling up there!
*Teh Sze Hou like a small schoolboy, with his backpack hahahah so cuteeee!*
Second stop, Pura Tirtha Empul, also known as the Holy Spring temple.
*He was forced to wear a sarung! Hahahah smart me cause i wore a maxi so they just tied the yellow ribbon around my waist*
*Holy spring water*
Getting some holy water for themselves!
And some for us too!
*Sarong hipsters in Bali :P*
Went back to Kuta after that and the driver dropped us at some shopping mall so that we could have dinner there.
After dinner, we realized we were all poor like shit so we decided to walk to Kuta town instead of taking a taxi. From google maps, it shows that its about 1.8km away. And so yeah we were thinking why not walk, save money la noneed to sit taxi.
Haha it was the SCARIEST walk of my life!! First we had to cross main roads like crazy people, especially us in maxi dresses running around on the main roads. Then we had to pass by this small village which was so damn dark with no street lights at all. And very small lorong which were completely pitch black! But we had no choice but to continue walking because it was tooooo far to turn back from where we came from. Then the villagers were trying to scare us by making 'ghostly noises' which I was damn scared la ok!!
The only light we had was our 'torchlight' using our phones ok. Lol but nonetheless, it was a good experience but I am never doing that again!!
We managed to reach Kuta town safely and since it was still quite early, we did some shopping around the main streets in Kuta before going back to our hotel. And again, we decided to save money and walk back to our hotel. And again it was sooooo damn dangerous, with all the motorcycles going so close to us. I was so afraid someone was gonna rob us. We had all our money plus our passports with us ok!! Imagine if they robbed us off our passports, noneed to go back home d lol. That was the first and the last time we walked back to our hotel. Lol after that experience, we took the cab home every single time from Kuta town. hahaah no more walking back and saving that few bucks!!!
DAY 4
Water sports day! We already bought a package like a day before for 4 activities - Snorkeling, Turtle Farm, Banana boat and Parasailing for USD30 each. Quite a good deal la, cause I heard from friends that parasailing is usually damn freaking expensive!!
*Watersports day outfit*
*Buffet breakfast at hotel first before leaving to Tanjung Benua beach*
*Had our breakfast with this view. Ahhh life :D*
Our driver was waiting for us at the lobby already after we were done with breakfast. One thing I love about them is that they are always punctual!! Whatever time we ask them to come, they will always be there at that time!! So we dont have to wait for them and waste our time.
He drove us to Tanjong Benua where we will be having all our water sports for that day. Dropped us there and our fun began!
*1st activity- Snorkeling*
*Sky was so blue that day! Lucky us!!*
Second activity- Turtle Farm
*Poor turtle lol!*
*Not light ok! Damn freaking heavy!!*
*EEE disgusting animal.. Not touching it*
*My worst nightmare, SNAKES. Never touching it!!!!*
*Its a BAT!*
*Mandatory jumpshot*
Third activity - Parasailing.
I was so excited like before the trip, and when I was there, looking at other people parasailing, I freaked out. WTF im scared of heights one lo! I didnt noe it was so high up omg.. Wanted to chicken out and not do it, but nope the rest wouldn't allow me to chicken out.
And so I kept asking them to 'you go first laa, i dont want to do first. let me see first' Lol until it was my turn to do, and I stood there chatting with the man, kept telling him 'Bang, nanti you jangan cepat ahh..you slow sikit ok!' Haha and he laughed at me saying he would make the speedboat go even faster... O.O DOOMSDAY.
When it was my turn, everything happened so fast. I wasnt even ready yet!! He clipped on the parachute damn fast and before I could even say anything, I was in the air ady! WTF never even give me chance to calm down lol. But it was seriously the BEST THING EVER!! OMG i would do it AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!!!
Most awesome view up there ok!! Its like everything is so tiny from above and all I could see was the sea!! Awesome!! Before I knew it, he was already asking me to pull the 'blue string' for me to come down. And me being the stupid one, did funny stuffs and I couldn't come down -.- Damn malu ok! They were running around on the beach trying to catch me because I was flying away again hahahahha. Ok lucky no one recorded it ;P So damn malu!!!
No pictures on parasailing and banana boat because I do not want to risk my camera getting wet/lost etc :P But regretted la!! Shud have brought my baby out for parasailing!!!
Fourth activity- Banana boat!!
My first time riding the banana boat and seriously, it was SO SO SO SO FUN!!!!! Before going up the boat, they asked us 'mau jatuh ke?' and we were like 'YES YES MAU JATUH!!!!'
Haha was super excited!! 7 of us on the banana boat and another 2 more of their people will be on the boat with us. One in front and one behind. The front guy would be holding on to the first person on the banana boat and he will be the navigator. He will hold on to the first person's lifejacket and move left and right to splash more water at us, and when its time for us to get thrown, he will push the first person to one side and kick the boat so that all of us will fall into the water.
After knowing their trick, the 2nd time we were on the boat, I told all of them, when you see him pushing the 1st person to the right, you counter him by moving to the left. So that was what we did. Everytime he tried to push to the right, we pushed the whole boat to the left and vice versa. We were having the time of our life. Jumping up and down on the boat, asking the speedboat to move faster!! And again we fell in to the water.
Got back up the boat and I was the first person this time! I insisted that I wanted to be the front because I will get most water splashed at me hahahah. And again we used the same trick. Everytime he tried to pull me to one side, I pushed myself to the other side. But ofcourse I'm not as strong as him la. And after trying to resist for quite some time, we fell in again. It was sooooo sudden because I was concentrating on going the opposite side from the side he was pulling me towards but I failed. Lol and someone elbowed my head underwater. Damn pain lo!!
Got back up the boat and we were heading back to the mainland when uh huh we got thrown in again!!!! Omg this was seriously UNEXPECTED OK!! We thought we were done getting thrown in to the water. Ok fine they won this time. They caught us offguard. We were dead tired, just enjoying the ride back when suddenly 'DOOOOSHHHHHHHH before I knew it, i was swallowing water, someone hitting my head again, and closing my eyes because I fear losing my contacts'
Haha but it was damn fun!!! Overall we got thrown in 4 times!!!!! And after last throw, they made us swim back onto land LOL.
And right after that, all of us jumped into the diving pool. Lol from above, it looked kind of shallow, like can see the base of the swimming pool, so ok la fine we say lets jump in. When I jumped, I was so shocked, like wtf how come so long haven't reach the base, so I panicked and pushed myself back up, then I was like WTF WHY SO LONG CANT REACH THE SURFACE???!
It was fking deep la, I kid you not. Do not underestimate diving pools!! Lol and yeah we ended up jumping a few more times.
Washed up after that and got dressed. Our driver was already waiting for us because we were busy enjoying in the diving pool we got carried away haha.
After all the water activities we were damn damn hungry and so the driver brought us to a place to makan Babi Guling again.!! Yummmmy!!
*Next stop, Nusa Dua beach*
Then it started raining super heavy!!! So we ran back into the van and we wanted to go over to Jimbaran Bay, but yeah cause of the rain we cancelled that plan. Asked the driver to take us makan streetfood/ 'makanan jalan' Lol. But most were closed cause it was raining. We managed to get coconut water and pisang goreng though.
The rain didn't seem to be stopping so soon so we told the driver to drop us back at the hotel and come pick us up at 6pm again to go to Kuta beach to watch the sunset.
*And here we are, at Kuta beach. But cloudy sunset was all we had*
Because it was drizzling!!!! Emooo no sunset at all for the past 4 days!!
The whole time it was drizzling and we just continued walking in the rain. Damn potong stim la the rain. After the sunset, we headed back to Kuta town for dinner at a random restaurant which has Bali food, because we wanted to try their local food.
*Beef Balls*
*Ayam penyet*
*Pampering ourselves with foot and back massage after dinner!*
It was awesome!!!
DAY 5
It was our last day in Bali. We purposely arranged for this day to be just relaxing day because we know we will be dead tired after the past 4 days. So all we did was shop around Kuta area and yeah thats it. We had lots of time because our flight was only at 11pm.
But because of the rain, it spoiled all our mood. It was so wet and cold. Sighhh rain why you spoil our plans??
*Had a late and long breakfast.. and after that chilling by the pool*
We checked out at 2pm and left all our bags there and went to Kuta town again.
*Lunch was at a random restaurant*
Taufu bakar! This was goood!!
*Got bored*
*Ended up at McD to avoid the rain and drank more Coke with vanilla ice cream because it was so freaking cheap there!! Even their McFlurry was damn cheap!*
*Our surprise gift from all of them for organizing this trip. Hehe thankiewwww :)*
*And I bought name bracelets for the sisters as souvenirs! So cantik kan!?*
Spent most of our time chatting at McD until it was time for dinner.
*Damn awesome pork satay!!*
*And more babi guling hahahah*
Headed back to the hotel after dinner to grab our luggage and took a cab to the airport.
That concludes our 5D3N trip to Bali. I really really really wanna go back because we missed out Jimbaran Bay and Uluwatu temple due to the rain.
Bali I will be back I promise!!!
*Bye Bali, till next time :)*
