Stress time

This semester is by far the MOST STRESSFUL semester of my whole entire four years of studying. And it will also be my last one.

I seriously have no time to breathe at all. Assignments being thrown at us, with datelines one after the other. And more tests and quizzes and workshops and tutorials. Everything is just never ending. God, I hope this will end soon. But then again, I think I will miss uni life so much that I won't mind going through all the torture again if I had the chance to turn back time.

Sigh, life. What more can I say.

Anyway, eventhough I said I had no time to breathe, I will still find time to 'enjoy' and 'chillex' in between all the stress, if not, I think I would probably be in depression mode by now.

During my sem break last week, (which wasn't even counted as a break la cause I went to uni almost everyday to do assignments and for group discussions) darling brought me for a short holiday. A 2d1n stay at Gold Coast Morib. Cause he got the groupon online at a super reasonable price hehe.

He always plans short surprise trips like these just to ease my stress. Me being so kiasu, wanted to bring my lappie there to do my assignments and he said
'No laptops, no work, no studying, no assignments. I just want you to take a break for a day and relax.'

And that was exactly what we did :)

We reached the resort at 1 pm and the check in time was at 2pm so we decided to explore the resort to kill some time. And then we came across this small gerai that sells small items and I saw this bubble blowing thing and I insisted that I wanted it. Hehe

Releasing the child in me :P

Blowing bubbles are just so fun la!!

Hehehe there was a bunch of kids nearby and I kept blowing bubbles and they got so damn happy they started chasing all my bubbles and tried to catch them. So i blew more and more and watch them run around screaming happily at my bubbles. Hehe ;P

*Trying to SS with bubbles as decorations lol :P*

*The beach at our resort*

Finally got our room after waiting for so damn long and the room was not disappointing at all!! I mean for the price we paid, and the room we got, definitely worth our money :)

*Our super spacious room*

*Comes with a private jacuzzi in our bathroom. Awesome or what?!*

*So many buttons and controls, we were too fascinated by it haha*

*Got RAIN SHOWER sumore. Best la my favorite!!*

 *OOTD*

*I'm still very much in the peplum phase*

*And this is the view from my balcony :D*

*Super BLUE sky!! :D*

All we did the whole afternoon was just chill in the room, munching on tidbits and snacks that we bought and talking and watching TVB drama and abit of sleeping.

Our stomach started growling at 6 pm because we did not have any lunch so darling said he would bring me out for early dinner. Which he already had a place in mind. He is always damn prepared one la. He will do all his research before bringing me out one. Thats why i LOVE going on holidays with him, cause I can just sit back and relax while he does all the planning :P

*Got ready for dinner*
I super love his shirt ok!! I chose it for him one!! :D

For dinner, he brought me to a seafood restaurant, situated by the beach. Because he knows how much I love beaches and how much I've always wanted to have dinner by the beach.

*Chose a table nearest to the beach* And this is our view from where we were sitting

*Wanted to catch the sunset while having dinner, but we failed. By the time we reached, the sun was already gone*

*AWESOME VIEW LA OMG*

*The coconut water was damn good and sweet that we tapao-ed one back to our hotel room to drink :P*

*Salted egg mantis shrimp*

*Sizzling Tofu*

*And their famous Banana Chicken*
Was damn damn damn good la!!

*Dinner for two*

Overall, the food was awesome. Better than average. And the price, it was soo freaking cheap. The total bill was rm50 I think. Including the coconut, which we ordered 2! And also 3 plates of rice. Cheap or not?? Name of restaurant I dont remember haha :P Ask Hou, he should know.

We sat there and ate for close to 2 hours. Cause we were busy chatting and the environment was just perfect, so cooling and windy :)

Got back to the hotel and we decided to explore the bar located at the beach area of our resort.

 *The Pier*

*They were singing chinese songs! Super like!!*

*Ordered guava and mango juice and sat there for 2 hours :P*
Because I just love listening to chinese songs!

We were just chilling, talking, laughing, joking, enjoying each others company when we suddenly heard fireworks. Like damn super loud. The resort people were putting fireworks by the beach. And lucky us, from where we were sitting, we had a perfect view of it.

*It was sooo cool!!*

What a perfect way to end our night :) It lasted for a whole 5 minutes cause they lit 4 fireworks, one after the other.

*Captured by the bf, edited by me :D*
p/s: he was trying to be artistic. I had to 'borrow' him my hand. LOL

After the fireworks, we went back to our room. And we spent the rest of the night eating snacks and drinking our coconut that we tapao from the restaurant earlier while watching tvb drama till our eyes started feeling so droopy we could hardly open them. Decided to call it a night and the minute my head touched the pillow, I fell in to deep sleep.

The alarm woke us up the next morning. Got ready and head down for buffet breakfast. Yes it's included in the groupon that we bought. SO WORTH RIGHT!!

*My nasi lemak!!*
It was so good I wanted to have a 2nd plate but I was thinking of my ruined diet plan so I did not :P

Packed up after breakkie and headed back to Subang. I went to Monash for assignments while darling went to work. Back to reality :((

Other updates ~

1. Attended my first Monash Ball, which was also my last. Definitely a night to remember :)

*Photo booth pictures!*

*And this is almost all the girls in Monash Bpharm 2013 Graduating Class*

*And I have too many photos so here are some of my favorite ones!* :D

2. Went drinking at a cool place in Jalan Ampang, The Pool. It is a bar with a swimming pool right in the middle of the bar.

*Our cocktails! Lol I forgot the names of the cocktails already*

*This is like the coolest way to drink ever. Using a big funnel with a long tube*
Cost us rm60 for that drink, and it was gone in 5minutes.

*Group photo!* My new drinking kaki!! :D

And my red-face after the drinking session

Thats all for now.

From today onwards, no more partying, no more drinking, until I'm done with finals.

Wish me luck for my last semester which will be ending in 1.5 months. Gotta enjoy every single moment of it.

Holding on

I no longer see the point of me holding on.

What is the point holding on, what is the point hanging on, what is the point hoping for the best when things arent going to be alright?

I tried. and i give up now. I cant see the end of it, i cant see the reason to hold on anymore.

I tried to be happy over every small little improvement but now i learned that those are just illusions.

Its just easier to let everything go now, start all over new than to hold on to something that might make things worse after this.

hanging in there

64 days
4 exams
and i will be done.....

things were pretty messy for the past few weeks. I dont remember myself being this depressed before. it wasnt merely a matter of a day or two and instead, it was over a few weeks. Everything just seemed to be wrong. It wasnt really bad or catastrophic, it was just that things werent really going on smoothly. It is worse knowing that my presence would definitely improve the situation but im absolutely helpless now because im away

Fortunately, I have now managed to picked myself up a little. sorted my feelings out a little and hoping that i will make bigger progress (good) by accumulating all the small improvements that i managed to pick up each day.

for now, i will just have to hold on. focus on my exams. and i know, things will pretty much be sorted as soon as i reach home

till then, all the best for me.

A promise

A stalk of rose, symbolizing a new chapter, a new start.

Together with a long letter that touched my heart :'(

He can be so sweet really. (Cher said she gives him A+ for his effort!)  And that made me feel even worse. I promise i will sort this out real soon.

Anyway, updates over the week. Haha so sorry that I MIA-ed for so long and abandon this blog. But now I'm back!

Hou took me for dinner as usual on Friday to celebrate our 30th month.

*OOTD*
Super love my floral top!! :D

*I have always wanted to try out Bulgogi Brothers!!*

Free tea! Was quite good :)

*Korean side dishes* The pumpkin mash was my favorite!!

 *Also, pumpkin soup!!*
I've never liked pumpkin in my life cause my mum cooks the worse pumpkin porridge/rice ever, but after trying this, I can stay that I don't mind pumpkin anymore, as long as its not my mum's haha :P

*Here comes the famous Heart-shaped beef meat!*

Food was good! But one advice, eat the meat while its hot, cause when it starts to turn cold, it doesn't tastes as good anymore.

p/s: Lol I just found out I could change the area of focus in my camera. Before this, it was all auto-focus which always focused on the wrong subject, hence the blurred pictures  :P Hehe sorry noob here, learning something new bout my camera everyday :P

Wednesday 4.8.13, was a happy day for me. It has been a long time since I last felt so happy. Thankiew dear. Thanks for giving your best to me, for always trying to turn the wrong things right, for never giving up on this.

I had no classes on Wednesday, so the bf decided to take one day off work to accompany me. And he decided that he wanted to bring me out on a full day dating. He secretly planned out the whole day of activities without letting me know, so that I would be excited and anticipating it! Hehe

Woke up at 10am and I asked him 'so what is our first plan?' And he said, 'get ready and we are going for brunch'.

Guess where he brought me to?? Mr and Ms Cafe @ Ara Damansara (yes Cher if you're reading this, its in Ara Damansara Oasis Square). Lol I was just randomly asking him one day to find out where is this cafe cause I've seen lots of people posting it on instagram and because Cher asked me to go find out where is it. Manatau he so efficient bring me there already :P

*Had fun with their props hahahaah*
Mr & Ms

*Toppers*
*Scrambled Eggs, Avocado Mash, Melted Cheese, Turkey Ham with Wholemeal Toast*

*The Meaty Big Breakkie*
Guys will always be guys, eating like a monster zzzzz

Honestly, I don't like the food here. It was just really really normal, and super filling that I couldn't finish up my food. If the food was really good, however full my tummy is also I will gobble it down. Haha

*My Brunch Companion!*

Reminds me of Melbourne. How much I miss having brunches in Melbourne every weekends :( Boo..

Anyway the barista wasn't around at the time, so I didnt have my coffee fix. Nouuuuuu so sad!! :(

*So darling compensated me by getting me this!*
My new favorite now- Pacific Coffee's Caramel Swirl!

After our coffee break, our next plan was Genting! Yeap the bf booked a room in Genting without telling me!! I only knew about it the day before!! And I had lab session the next morning at 9am. Lol crazy plan I know! :P

Reached Genting and checked in to our room.

And the first thing I did was to STUDY. Because it was a super sudden plan and I had tests the next week so I brought my notes up. Haha I know kiasu me!!! Studied for 2 hours then we decided to go down for early dinner.

Walked around First World Plaza and finally settled for the HOT POT steamboat plus bbq. RM30 per person, and having hot food and soup in cold weather is like the best feeling ever. It was FREAKING cold that day due to the non stop rain. The temperature was like 15 degrees! Super loving it la!

*As usual, the liu for steamboat!*

*Steamboat in the middle, plus bbq at the sides*

We just sat there and ate and chit chat for 2 hours. Food was acceptable, not too bad. The chicken and tomyam soup was the bomb la! Damn good.

After dinner was the highlight of our trip up to Genting, plus it was the MAIN reason why darling chose to bring me up.

*Cause he knew how much I wanted to watch MAGICIANS* :)
It was a 1.5 hours show featuring 7 magicians from all over the world. And it was a really breathtaking experience. I was so so fascinated by all their tricks man. I was trying to look really closely to discover their tricks but seriously I couldn't figure it out!!

Some were lame but some were DAMN FREAKING PRO. Seriously awesome.

Was super duper hyper after the show ended, and we decided to try our luck at the casino.

Went in for less than 30minutes and we won rm50 on the dice game! Wheeee super happy and LUCKY day. We kept betting on the same few numbers, which were no. 4, 8, 10.
Which was our hotel's room number 4810. Hehe and serious shit that few numbers kept opening in that 30minutes!!! Even the dealer of that table we were playing at was so shocked when we kept winning on that same few numbers. LOL!!!!! Could see her shocked face when no one bets and we just kept playing that few numbers and WINNING :P

We would have stayed longer if not because we had to wake up early the next morning to rush down for my 9am lab session :( Boo seriously so potong stim la. If only I had no morning labs which is compulsory!!

Went back up to the room, and my next surprise came. Hou said 'go and open the safe box, the password is your birthday', and me being so excited, ran all the way back to the hotel room and open the box. Hmm I found two glasses inside, and he said 'go wash the cups nicely'

I was like ummm okayy... And i came out to find this.......

*White wine which he bought for me!!*
AAAAAA HAPPYYYYY LIKE GILA

He opened it and I took my first sip and I was like 'OMG damn good! How did you know wat type of white wine I like??' He said 'I did my research ;P'

Haha it was really really good!!! And we spent the rest of the night drinking half the bottle of wine before going to bed :) It was a good night :)

Our alarm went off at 5.45 am. Yes that early T.T Got ready, checked out and headed down. Our plan was to stop by somewhere for breakfast before him sending me to Monash for my lab.

But it started raining like super heavy and thus causing a super bad jam. Like really super bad. We left Genting at 6.30am and only reached Monash at 8.30am. 2 whole hours, when usually it will only take 1hour!
So we had no time for breakfast, and the bf was feeling super guilty that he couldn't take me out for breakfast and also worried that I would get hungry later on. So he decided to go to a nearby shop to tapao some food for me! Siew Pao plus Iced Coffee, which we sat in the car and ate cause it was raining cats and dogs outside.

Thats the end of the short surprise trip he planned for me :) I give him A ++ for his effort and for all the little tiny details he puts in to make this trip a memorable one. Thankieww dear! :D

Now back to studying. The coming week will be a hectic one. Really dreading it URGHHHH
