So three years since the first time I stepped onto Redang, I was back again :)
This time, with a totally different gang of people. Total of 9 of us, Hou and I, sis and Lincoln and the monash gang! The whole trip was planned fully by Hou, who did the hotel bookings, bought the air plane tickets and arranged our airport transfer. Thanks dear, I really have no idea what would I do without you :) So glad everyone had a wonderful time :)
It was a 4 days 3 nights trip, which I still felt was tooo short. If only we could stay there for a whole week =/ Happy times always pass so fast :(
Day 1, Saturday
*Our tired looks at 5am in the morning*
*Finally reached Kuala Terengganu airport and was picked up by our driver sent by the hotel who was already waiting for us at the arrival hall* And we had a whole van for us 7 people
*All ready for our beach vacation!* Wheee :D
*20minutes later, we arrived at the jetty*

I was so so disappointed as I wanted to ride a speedboat to the island. I kept complaining nonstop because I will get seasick if I sit a ferry which is super slow. So I just took my pill and slept throughout the whole journey which took about 1 hour. So slow la.. If we were to sit speedboat, we could reach by 30 minutes lo. But at least the seats were damn comfy, better than Air Asia's seats haha :P

Was kinda disappointed with it. Looked more like a backpackers room. But oh well, this gives us more reason to stay out on the beach than in the room right?

Just a very very basic room, with bed, chair, tables, cupboard. Nah dont like staying in the room so I stay out most of the time. Dont even wanna take pictures of the room zzzzz
First thing we did when we reached was to sleep. Haha nothing surprising there right. Lol can't blame us cause we had zero sleep the night before. Slept for about 1 hour till it was time for lunch, then we headed down to the canteen where lunch was served.
Our package includes 4 meals a day, breakfast, lunch, tea time and dinner and 2 snorkeling trips a day, so everything was already planned for. All we did was sit back and relax and follow the itinerary.
All meals were buffet style with different dishes and soup every day. And the food was surprisingly damn good! Seriously tasted like home cooked food.
After lunch, we prepared for our first snorkeling trip.
*Deep sea snorkeling, where they bring you to the middle of the sea and ask u to jump down and snorkel*

Another disappointment, all the corals were dead :( So so sad! 3 years ago when I was here, I could still see colorful, beautiful corals, but now, not even one left!!! Colorful corals, Y YOU DIE???
First day snorkeling wasnt that great cause we couldnt attract fishes as we did not have any of the magical item, FOOD. lol so we reminded ourselves to steal some bread during breakfast the next day to feed the fishes.
Came back after that and had our tea time. Like I said the food was really good. They served us some breads and cakes and tong sui!! Yummy, and yeap we stole one big plastic bag of food for the fishes :P
Went for more snorkeling by ourselves after that at our beach. Our mission was to search for baby sharks but we couldn't find any :( And we went snorkeling without our life jackets. Quite scary though, I didn't dare go too far LOL
Bathed after that and it was already time for dinner! :D Our tummies were growling like gila k. Cause before dinner, we could smell the food cooking in the kitchen and it smelled so so good that we were all anticipating for dinner

Had a really really long dinner, just chatting away and eating our chicken wings and lamb. Then we decided to take a walk by the beach and to walk to the other hotels to check out their bars and clubs.

Day 2, Sunday
*Breakfast first, Nasi Lemak!*
And we also had Roti Canai, which was like the best roti canai i've eaten! So awesome!!
After breakfast was our snorkeling trip to the Marine park!! Got changed and off we went in a speedboat! Wheee :D

Bread to attract the fishes!!!
It was so so fun!!! Cause we didnt have to go hunt for the fishes. All we did was, form a circle then throw some bread in the middle of our circle and just watch the school of fishes coming towards us and into our circle. There were really lots of fishes, of all sizes!! It was really really very cool lo!!
They swam really really close to us, so many tried to kiss me T.T All thanks to Hou who purposely put the bread near my FACE because he knew I was scared of the fishes coming so near to me T.T
The rest did many weird things like placing the bread in between their fingers and used it as a bait to catch the fishes LOL so funny, couldn't help laughing underwater. We all were laughing like mad underwater that you can see big big bubbles forming underwater from our laughter LOL.
Headed back to the hotel after that for our lunch. Then we decided to skip the afternoon snorkeling cause we were all exhausted and tired and the sun was really really glaring and stinging.
Rested awhile, bathed and we all pakat-ed to wear dresses to take photos on the beach :)

Yeap we even brought a tripod there. So prepared right we all! Cause we
didn't like to wait and ask strangers to take pictures for us. Then if
the picture not nice, very paiseh to ask strangers to help us take again
ma right! So with a tripod, we can just spam how ever many pictures that we want hahahahah :P
Was time for dinner after all the photoshooting. After dinner, we headed over to the bar for drinks and played cards till the night was late. It was a good night!!

Day 3, Monday
Woke up at 8am just to have breakfast, then we decided to skip the morning snorkeling and all of us went back to bed hehe :P
Woke up at 11.30am again then I went over to the girls room to gossip, then got changed for our photo session again :P Girls will always be girls hahaha..

Joined the snorkeling after lunch as it will be our last one for the trip. The sea was really really rough that day so we had to use a big fishing boat instead of a speedboat. I remembered the wave being so strong when we were snorkeling that it kept pushing me away.
But it was the best snorkeling of our whole trip :) Because we did the same thing again, attract fishes with our bread. And everyone else was so curious of why the fishes were always in the circle that we formed LOL. All the other people snorkeling had no fishes to see near them because it was all in our circle hahahaha.
We heard people saying 'how come all the fishes going there?? What are they holding?'
LOL damn funny.
And it was the day that I finally had the courage to jump off the boat and into the sea. When everyone was leaving and was climbing up onto the boat slowly, Chern suggested 'eh lets jump in'.
And we all were like ons la! So one by one, all of us ran and jump off the boat and into the sea. It was the BEST feeling ever la!!Going all the way down down down until you stop and push yourself back up :) We would have done it again and again if there was time :(
After that, we went back to the hotel for tea and played around in the beach :P

Day 4, Tuesday
Woke up, had breakfast and started parking as we had to check out by 10.30am.

Ferry ride was 3 hours. Dont ask me why. I had no idea, i just took my pill and died and dreamt of weird stuffs such as the ferry being able to fly, and at one time, i woke up, turn to Hou and said 'ehh the ferry can fly one ah???' then when back to sleep. and he gave me the 'wtf' look LOL. Effects of the pill hahahaha

We had like 7 hours before our flight so our driver dropped us at KT town to look around and eat before driving us to the airport.
Lunch time!! :D Ordered dishes to share among us 7 with 5 different dishes and the bill came up to rm55. WTF SO CHEAP

Then we went on a mission to look for Lekor as its very very famous in KT. But after walking round and round the town, we ended up back at the jetty lol. Shows how small KT town really is hahaha. Then we got tired so we called up our driver and told him to drive us to the best Lekor in town. And he brought us to this place :)

Our driver waited for us in the van while we enjoyed our Lekor and Kelapa. He's seriously the nicest driver ever. So we decided to take out rm5 each to tip the driver. He didn't ask for any extra money for bringing us around, even when we gave him the tips, he didn't want it at first. So kind and nice right! He totally deserved the tips! :)
Reached the airport and we still had 3 hours before our flight, and my pill effect hasn't worn off yet so I just slept flat on a bench hahaha. Yeap when I'm drowsy I dont care where I am, I will just sleep LOL .

Had cultural shock when I was at the airport. There's a separate queue for guys and girls when going into the departure hall. WTF. Seriously WTF.
Lol that concludes our 4 days 3 nights trip. It was seriously a good trip spent with awesome company.
And now, our next trip would be Bali at the end of the year. Planning in progress :P Haha I know I know, Hou pampers me too much :P
