Sorry for abandoning this blog for soooo super long. Haha I have been so busy with work and enjoying myself that I just cannot find time to sit in front of the comp to blog.
But since the bf has been bugging me for so damn long, and since I have something to write finally, (yeap about my birthday celebration), so here I am now.
But first WORK UPDATES!
December has been a good month for me. Firstly, I am now in the best department ever. Everyone was 'raving' about how awesome this department is, how the people are so nice, and the workload is not heavy, hehe so I was really looking forward to going into this department, which is Oncology Pharmacy.
In short, we deal with cancer drugs and cancer patients. Cool and interesting :) Every morning, I go to work with no stress no worries at all. We only work, like really work, in the morning, then after lunch is just chilling around, waiting for time to pass to go home hehe.
I'm so sad that this is gonna be my last week here :(
Anyway, cant believe its been 6 months. OMIGOD I'm already half way there!! Can totally see the light at the end of the tunnel already. C'mon time pass faster please. Cant wait to be done with this!!

Ok finally my main purpose of blogging, My birthday celebration this year :) which lasted the whole weekend hahahaha. Yeap 4 days of celebration. I am such a princess :P
Managed to take one day off and came back a day earlier, on Thursday night. Had dinner plans with Chen Liang and gf, and CX. By the time I was at KL sentral, I was having a really terrible headache. So bad till I asked Hou whether it was okay if we ditched our dinner plans and go straight home.
I didnt know he had something planned for me. It would have been so bad if I were to just cancel dinner, after all that he prepared, come to think of it now :P
So anyway I went for the dinner. After popping Panadol Actifast, my headache just disappeared. It was so fast, like magic. Haha. Yala my first time taking ma.
Dinner was at PNB Tower on the 39th floor, with Twin Tower view. A Malay fine dining called The 39 Restaurant. My first time trying Malay fine dining and it was not bad!!
We were super duper late and everyone was just sitting there waiting for us. So sorry guys!!! :(
The surprise came after that. When I was in the toilet. I came back and saw my cake on the table hehe. And sumore its my favorite cake!! From Swich Cafe in Publika.
Many different flavors!!
My fav: Cempedak cake
And the rest are Salted Caramel, Avocado, Chocolate Banana, and some Chocolate thing.
Hehe actually I kept hinting Hou that I wanted Swich cafe's cake for my birthday. But I only ordered one slice, which was the cempedak flavor. Manatau he bought so many other flavors!!
And then I asked him how did he get the cakes when he had to pick me up from KL sentral and I did not see him carrying any cake.
And Chen Liang said : Cause he has assets, which is us *points to self*
Haha Hou ordered it earlier and got Liang to collect the cakes for me from Publika before going for dinner. Thanks so much Hou and Liang!! :))
Took some pictures that night but Chen Liang dont want to give me yetttttttt :(
After dinner, we had super random 2nd round plans at Stratosphere @ The Roof. Which was right above darling's work place. Lol somehow the view one floor above looks way better than the one from his office lo.
Super love all the lights there!! Had just one bottle of Apple Cider and called it a night. A night well spent. :)
Next morning, Day 2 of celebration.
Hou knew how much I love brunches so he took me for brunch @ Caffeinated Cabin, Jalan Gasing. I chose the place, he was my driver and my ATM machine :P
*Makeup of the day*
Please excuse my messy hair. I think its time for my annual hair rebonding.
*OOTD. Dress from Closetmino*
*As usual, ordered Mocha*
*My date, being very busy with his phone*
FOOD !!
Forgot the names of the food. The first one was just okay. But the 2nd picture below, the Beef Burger was freaking awesome!! And also their potato wedges was the bomb!!
*Super love the crunch nachos in the burger!!*
*Thanks for brunch dear!!*
After brunch, Hou brought me shopping at the new mall, IOI City Mall. Because I wanted to see what is the 'District 21' craze all about.
Turns out that mall is still quite empty. And District 21 is just so so la I guess. Haha we didnt go in though, just stood outside and watch whatever that the people inside is doing. Expensive okay!!
Plus IOI City Mall has a skating rink!! Its been soooo long since I last skated!! Was so tempted to go for a few rounds but too bad I was wearing a dress, so yeah not such a good idea to go skating with a dress.
Went walking around and I bought a new work bag for myself as a birthday gift to myself. Haha yeah I know finding excuse to buy stuffs right me :P
Next stop was Kajang!! To visit my sisters and I had dinner plans with them to celebrate my birthday :D
The sisters took me all the way to KL to have japanese buffet!! Yippieee so happy!! My favorite cuisine!! And I wanted to try out that restaurant damn long ago d.
Our plans was so last minute so we did not manage to make any reservations as the place was fully booked. But we just went anyway, to try our luck as 'walk in customers'. Who knows, someone might just cancel their booking or came late then we can just grab their table.
And yeap thats what exactly happened. We waited for 30minutes until the manager finally told us that someone did not turn up and we can have their table. :DDD
So happy. Oh by the way, the name of the place is Mitasu Japanese Restaurant.

Lol thats only like 1/4 of the amount we ordered. Was just too lazy to continue taking pictures after that haha. Food was not bad, but not like super good until I would wanna go back.
Dinner was the sister's treat. Thanks jie!! :))
After dinner, we send the sista off to work for her night call then off me and Hou went for yamcha session with the gang over in Subang.
Called it a night after that .
Day 3 of celebration :)
Woke up at 12 in the afternoon, and while I was getting ready (bathing, makeup, changing etc), Hou disappeared downstairs for quite sometime and he told me to 'come down when you're ready'.
After brunch, Hou was the dishwasher too hahaha. When all was done, we packed our bags for the night as he told me that we will not be coming back to sleep tonight.
Turns out, the 'secret' place he was bringing me that day was Cyberview Lodge Resort and Spa. Never heard of that place before. But turns out it was a 5 star resort, with award winning landscape gardens and also having one of the Top 10 spa place in Klang Valley, called Sembunyi Spa.
The resort was soooo huge and its true that their landscape garden is 'award winning' as when I was there for 2 days, I already witnessed two garden weddings in two consecutive days lol.
Hou got us a deluxe chalet with lakeview. Honestly I wasn't expecting much, cause the exterior of the chalet looked 'okay' only. Like I was wondering, how is this 5 stars??!
But when I entered our chalet, I was totally IMPRESSED. Like WOW.
Our chalet was damnnnnn huge!!! With our own mini pantry with a full sized fridge, a sofa bed, small dining table with chairs, work desk, dressing table etc.
Bathroom comes with both bathtub and a separate shower with rainshower wooohoooo our favorite! :P
And you know its a 5 star hotel when they give you sooooo damn many towels of all sizes that you get confused which towel to use for what. And oh floor mat too .haha

The minute we walked in, we were greeted by the staffs, by name. 'Welcome Mr Ryan!' Wah so impressed. Seriously damn good service!!
We were quickly ushered to a sitting area and was served cold ginger tea while we were asked to fill up a form about what type of massage we prefer, and areas for them to focus on etc etc.
So professional lo. After that, we head over to the changing room to get dressed in our robes and were brought upstairs to our own private suite!!!
WHAT THE. So cool!!!!Its a couple suite called Mayang Sari Suite.
And there was where we had 90 minutes of pure pampering session :D There was this background music of water sound and leaves and birds and it was just so relaxing, I totally fell into deep sleep halfway.
So awesome. After the massage session, they guided us to our very own balcony in our suite, with two rocking chairs, overlooking their own swimming pool, and lake and landscaped gardens, and served us hot tea and pudding. Then they left us there by ourselves to just relax and enjoy the scenery.
We were not given any time limit. So we just lay there on our rocking chairs, for like 30minutes before deciding to get dressed and head back to our room or we might be late for dinner later :P
Ahhh was definitely a good experience, but whether it was worth the price, I do not want to know, so don't tell me if you ever find out lol.
Headed back to the room, lazed around for awhile before it was time to get ready for dinner. Haha finally an occasion for me to dress up!! Its been too long since I last dressed up because you know Ipoh people do not dress up !! They love to wear tshirt and jeans ONLY LOR!! SO SIEN ONE. IF I DRESS UP I WILL ALWAYS FEEL OVERDRESSED -.-
Dinner that night was Tamarind Hill! I remembered how much I loved that place back in 2010, when darling took me there for my 21st birthday.
Anyway, I was the one who suggested going back to this place for my birthday dinner because 4 years ago, it was an awesome experience. With the top service given, very private environment, and awesome food (pan seared beef.. fking miss it okay). I was really really looking forward to coming back here.

*WAH THE OYSTERS SO HUGE!!*

And it was fking good okay!!! Got improvement d dear, give you 10 likes!

After brunch, Hou was the dishwasher too hahaha. When all was done, we packed our bags for the night as he told me that we will not be coming back to sleep tonight.
*Mandatory selfie before departing :)*

Stole this picture from someones else blog cause I did not take pictures of the resort. SEE really very pretty right!!!!

Woahhhh super love the bed.
The bed just feels SOOOO comfy and the pillow is like OMG HEAVEN!!
5 star hotel memang ada standard!!

*Even our balcony was soooo huge!! Totally can have a bbq party there lol.*
Next was getting ready for our Spa and Massage treatment that dear already pre-booked and paid for.
I do not want to know how much it cost because I know I will be damn heartache if I know the price.
So shhhhh not gonna go google how much it was.
The spa was just few doors away from our chalet.
The minute we walked in, we were greeted by the staffs, by name. 'Welcome Mr Ryan!' Wah so impressed. Seriously damn good service!!

*My date for the night :)*
Dinner that night was Tamarind Hill! I remembered how much I loved that place back in 2010, when darling took me there for my 21st birthday.
*Same picture taken 4 years later at the same place :P*
Can't believe I'm so old already omgg
Anyway, I was the one who suggested going back to this place for my birthday dinner because 4 years ago, it was an awesome experience. With the top service given, very private environment, and awesome food (pan seared beef.. fking miss it okay). I was really really looking forward to coming back here.
But what happened in the end? It was such a BIG LET DOWN. A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I SWEAR NEVER EVER TO GO BACK TO ANY TAMARIND RESTAURANTS EVER!!
So it started like this. When we arrived, guess what, our reservation that Hou made wasn't even there!! Like wtf. Hou said he called up so many times to reserve a table and also got them to reserve 2 tables with different view so I can choose where I would like to sit. Manatau reservation pun tak ada.
Ok nevermind fine. Small matter. They gave us a table and gave us the menu. And first thing I did was to flip through all the pages, searching for the same pan seared beef that I ate 4 years back. And I did not spot it!!
Ok you must be wondering, yala maybe they took it off their menu la. 4 YEARS ago la. So long d.
But guess what, Hou purposely called up so many times before we came, and asked them to check whether the 'pan seared beef' was still in the menu or not. And he said, after a few calls, the staff confirmed that it was STILL ON the menu. AND THAT WAS THE ONLY REASON I WANTED TO EAT IN THIS PLACE SO BADLY.
SO WTF I TOTALLY EXPLODED. FKING ANGRY.
1) No reservations. No nice view.
2) No pan seared beef.
Fml okay.
We wanted to walk out immediately but decided not to, because we didnt have Plan B on where to eat. So yeah we ate anyway, but with me being so pissed off.
Food not nice. Price so expensive. Never coming back!!
Dont even feel like posting up pictures of the food. Waste of time.
But here is a picture of us anyway.
Hou was feeling soo sooo guilty about the whole dinner, so he decided to bring me for 2nd round at a place that I wanted to visit for so damn long already!!
None other than Tours Le Jours :D
Because before that, we were passing by that place and I didn't know it was so huge!! Like two floors and the environment was super nice. Hehe so we went back there after dinner.
Only coffee can make me happy :D
At least our night ended nicely :)
HAHAA OKAY I KNOW. Enough of SS pictures. Lol have some mercy, I dont always make up, so when I do, must take pictures 99.
Stayed there till we got chased out because they were closing, and that was close to 1 am I think?
Headed back to our hotel room in Cyberjaya and ended the night just chilling on the bed, playing games on my tablet before finally falling asleep.
It was a freaking good sleep!! The bed was just sooooo comfy haha.
The next morning, we woke up early, like 8.30am! Just for the breakfast that was included in our room. According to Hou, he read reviews about the breakfast and apparently its not bad.
Got dressed and headed down to 'The Verandah' for breakfast. And I chose the seat at the garden because the landscaping was just sooooo gorgeous!!
Breakfast with a view :)
The food was seriously not bad!! There were lots of varieties and really up to the standard I expected for a 5 star resort.
Had a really longg breakfast, just enjoying the food and chit chatting. until they were closed hehe.
Then we took a stroll around the resort and I ended up in this hammock.
My first time leh!! I never slept in a hammock before. Wahahah so jakun :P
After we were done exploring, we headed back to the room and continue our sleep. LOL I know we are such pigss. Thats why people say we are the perfect couple. Only love to eat and sleep hahah.
Darling requested for a later check out time so we had more time to sleep. :P
When it was time, we packed our bags and bid farewell to that place.
Overall, it was a good experience and a good stay!
Thanks dearie for planning all these for me!! :)
So that was how I celebrated my birthday this year. :)
And for my birthday present, not yet arrive la. Soon to arrive in January from the US :P HEHE
