Feeling lonely

The bf just left back to KL today morning, and left me all by myself here in JB. After spending one whole week with him, day and night, 24/7, I felt so sad when I realized today was the day that he would be going home :( Seeing him packed his stuff and leaving, knowing that the next time I would see him will be 1 month from now just makes me feel even sadder :(

Not to mention that I am now left all alone in this apartment. Sis is not back from HK and would only be back tomorrow. I miss having him here with me, in the same room as me, talking to me. I just feel so lonely la :(

Anyway thanks so much dear, for sending me all the way down even though you have so much things to do and thanks for staying here to teman me as long as u possibly can, even though you need to study and have your finals on Wednesday. See you in 1 month ok! :) Or you can come down here anytime to find me if you miss me too much :P

So how did I spend my 7 days with darling?

Tuesday

Right after his FYP presentation, he came and picked me up in the afternoon and off we headed up to Genting. He had already booked a deluxe room in First World Hotel just the day before. Was lucky that we could get a room.

I'd always heard from other people about how bad the rooms at First World are, how super small and mini and no space to walk at all, so I was a little afraid that our room would be like that. But since ours was a deluxe room it was not too bad I would say. As in not very big but not very mini also la.

*Our deluxe room. Looks decent la right*

We had this twin bed room at first, then Hou decided that he wanted a queen sized bed so he went down to the reception and requested for one, which they gave us a new room. Hehe :D

After placing our bags, we were damn damn hungry so we decided to have dinner at one of the restaurant located in Genting Resort casino, called Monte Carlo.

*Half slab of Baby Pork Ribs*

*Black pepper steak*
We had free flow of soup and coffee and tea and salad. And we did not pay a single cent for the meal above, all thanks to the dad's genting card which has toooo much Genting Points that no one will be able to finish using it all. LOL. We redeemed the above meal using the dad's points :D

Both of us were not in the mood to gamble that night so we went back up to the room after dinner. And guess what we did, haha I dyed my hair in the toilet while Hou was there helping me.

Then he took a short nap at 12 am. LOL ya we were not planning to let the night end so soon! It was just a mini nap. While I lie on bed watching my drama. Woke the boy up at 1.30 am, and down we went for supper!!! :D FAT DIE ME!!!

*Teochew porridge with 2 meat dishes and 2 vege dishes* Also redeemed through points. :P
Guess what, it was the WORST porridge I'd eaten in my entire life!!! Yuckssss man never ever eat their porridge!!!!!! We ended up eating the dishes and leaving the porridge there :P

Got back to the room at 3.30am and we went straight to bed.

Wednesday

Next morning, we had to be up by 9am as we were planning to leave Genting at 11 am sharp, to drive down to JB as I promised my sis to be down by 4pm, to take the apartment keys from her before she leaves to HK.

Had breakfast first then went to the casino, took out rm10 to gamble and won rm20 wooohoo!

Then we left to start our long journey down south.

Estimated time of the journey was 5 hours so we should reach by 4pm. But we reached 30minutes earlier, thanks to Hou who was speeding all the way. Hopefully he won't receive any AES summon HAHAHAHA.

Met up with sis and linc for lunch before heading back to the apartment.

*Pizza!*Lunch was sis's treat! Thanks!! :D

Then we surprised the soon to be birthday boy with a small little cake :)

Sis took us out for dinner that night and she introduced us to a very unique Lok Lok. Its deep fried lok lok. As in the ingredients are the same, like how u choose from the lorry then they will deep fry it for u,
So damn freaking awesome that me and hou went back there 3 days in a row.

*Best were the fried kangkung and mushrooms and seafood tofu!!!*
I'm definitely gonna eat a few more times before coming home!!

Called it a night after that and we went back to the apartment while sis went to Singapore to pack her stuffs and flew off to HK the next morning.

Thursday

Our Singapore adventure day :)

Woke up at 9am, got ready and we were out of the house by 10am. Something unfortunate happened where I misplaced all my SGD dollars and I was searching high and low for it. Was damn damn panicky cause I only found out that I lost my SGD dollars the morning itself!! We had no money at all.

Went out for breakfast first.

*Had beef noodles!*
Nice!! Soup was good, all the beef were good!!

Then we went hunting for money changer to exchange some RM to SGD before going to the JB Immigration Checkpoint. We were lost and blur cause it was our first time taking a bus to SG. But my smart darling took me there safe and sound. Oh and back too safely :D

First stop, definitely to get my most loved and missed bubble tea, KOI!!

*Walked around Vivocity to finish up my drink*

 *So yeng, I like :D*

Then we boarded the Sentosa Express train to Sentosa! I was the tour guide, bringing the bf here and there to take pictures hahahah. More like forcing him to take pictures!

 Brought him to Siloso Beach

*Made our mark at the beach <3 br="">

Super tiring day at Sentosa. Weather was really hot too!! We left at 3pm and took the MRT to Tanjong Pagar to try the awesome Ramen that Cher kept telling me about. Took quite awhile to find the place and we reached there it was CLOSED. LIKE WTF WTF??!!!

We saw a notice saying that it will be opened at 6pm and at that time it was 4.30pm so we decided to wait. But our grumbling tummy couldnt wait so we wondered around that area finding for foood.

*Settled down at a small taiwanese shop*
Food was not too bad!

Wandered around more while waiting for the time to pass and we saw this. Gopeng Street. His hometown LOL so i forced him to take a pic with it hahahaha

Finally at 6pm, we had our ramen!! Ordered the most expensive one on the menu cause we waited sooo long for it and we took all the trouble to come here just for the ramen.

*It was soooooo goood!*
The soup, the pork slices, the noodles. everything was good.
Just that after eating for awhile, the soup will get a little too salty.

Headed back after that. Took MRT, then bus to Singapore Checkpoint, then another bus to JB Checkpoint before reaching our car. So damn mafan. Took us 1 hour to travel back to JB.

Came home and ended the night playing Monopoly on dear's tablet. Hahaha so funny ok that game. We played together on the bed till 2 am!! I kept making the other players bankrupt and I will feel damn happy and laugh like crazy :P

 Friday

It was the boy's birthday. I woke up early just to prepare breakfast for him! See, I'm not a bad gf after all right :P

*Mushroom soup, Cheese Cocktail Sausages, Harsh brown with melted cheese slice and bacon*

After breakfast, dear took me to Johor Premium Outlet for shopping!! :D My first time there, but as usual I did not buy anything :(

Had a really really bad headache after that so we came home and I slept for 3 hours straight @@ Then woke up for his birthday dinner celebration :)

 Present time first!!

*Got him a Braun Buffel wallet!!*
He was soooo happy!! So glad he loved it!! ;)

*My outfit for the night*
My first ever peplum top and I love it!! Took me soooo long to find the one that I like!

Dinner was at Yew's Cafe.

 *Salmon Caesar Salad*

*My Tokyo Chicken Chop*
Was damn damn damn goood!!

*His Oat Fried Chicken Chop*

Overall food was good! Service was good, portion was big. And the best part was it was CHEAP. I wanted to treat dear for dinner but he INSISTED on paying. I said 'its your birthday, let me treat you once a year can anot??'. and he said 'dont wan i wanna pay'. Lol but seriously damn freaking cheap la XD

Saturday

Breakfast, we had Laksa Johor. Our first time. Its spaghetti in fish sauce gravy. I liked it!!

Headed down to Singapore again ;) This time we were more familiar with everything so everything went smoothly.

Bugis for shopping first then went to Bugis Junction for tea time.

*Brought him to try Ya Kun Kaya Toast for the first time and he loved it so super much!*

Met up with our high school friend, Wilson and we went for more makan!!

*Fries-Sour Cream and Onion*
It was Wilson's treat! Thankiewwww :)

*Agent Red Velvet-Chocolate plus Cream Cheese*

*Thanks Wilson for bringing us around. And for bringing me to whenever I demanded to go eventhough it was out of the way :)*

*Stopped by Abercrombie and I just HAD to take a picture with this freaking hot guy!! OMGGGGGGGGGGG*

*Took dear for a walk at Clarke Quay cause I wanted to show him my favorite spot in Sg*

Then jalan jalan at Chinatown, drink one more round of KOI, then I was complaining like crazy that my legs were gonna break and I refused to walk anymore. So we decided to go back home. Uhhh finally. So damn tiring.

Came back and we had dinner at the same place again. Fried Lok Lok before returning home, and ending the night with Monopoly! :D

Sunday

Decided to rest and stay in because :

Reason 1: My legs were damn pain, so I didnt feel like going anywhere.

Reason 2: Hou had to study for his finals which was on Wednesday.

So we just went out for brunch. An aussie style place. Its a bungalow, converted into a restaurant, Eight Lido. The environment damn super nice one lo. Can sit in the garden and eat and have a view of the sea, overlooking Singapore :)

 *Coffee*
No breakfast is complete without a cup of coffee :)

*2 glasses of fresh orange juice*

*My Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon*
Super yummmy!!!

*Dear's American Breakfast*
Mixture of everything.

We just sat in the garden, enjoying our brunch and the cooling breeze, looking at the sea, talking about everything and how we want to enjoy more brunch like these in the future :) I think we were there for like an hour and the half. Haha

After brunch, came back home and he studied while I watched my drama plus Monopoly on the bed. Hehe

At night, he made plans to meet up with his primary schoolmate to have dinner together.

*Kuew Teow Kia*
Niceeeeeee :D

Sat there and listen to both of them chit chat. Its nice to see how they both can still get along so well, be so close and talk about everything after not talking to each other for months. I quite jealous one lo cause she's a girl hahahaa :P

While both of them were busy catching up, I was busy researching for good dessert place :D

And then we parted ways, she went home while me and Hou went for dessert.

Awesome durian dessert. Its durian with coconut milk, rice balls, black glutinous rice and vanilla ice cream. While dear ordered their sesame and peanut dessert.

Monday

Woke up early to have breakfast.

*Tapao this awesome malay nasi lemak with fried chicken to a car wash centre*

Sat at the side eating our breakfast while looking at his car going for a shower.

*Then went makan Curry Laksa*

Haha yeah i know my diet plan all gone!! But I swear from today onwards, im going back to my diet plan!!

Came home after that while dear packed up his stuffs and he left. :'(((((((

Left me alone here, and so I'd been watching drama non stop, sleeping, eating and blogging.

Sis coming back tomorrow! Yay, at least theres someone here with me.

And the rest of my friends are coming down on Friday. Next Monday, start work at Sultanah Aminah Hospital. Hopefully I do not get scoldings for knowing nothing :(

Till next time,

Lifeless

ps: SUPER jumbled up post below

I'm so super sien and bored!! I cant think of anything to do so here am I blogging. Whyyyy is staying at home so boring?

If I sleep, mum will scold and say Im wasting too much time.
If I watch drama on my laptop, mum will say wasting time.
If I on the light in my room and watch drama, mum will say wasting electricity and time.
If I on aircond mum will say wasting electricity.
If I keep going out, mum will say waste money waste petrol. T
hen WTF YOU WAN ME TO DO LA??!

On light cannot, on aircond cannot, watch drama cannot, sleep cannot, go out cannot.
I think I'll go crazy soon!! What kind of holidays is this man!?? I miss my freedom in Melbourne.

Please MunLi tahan one more year then I'm moving out of this house!! Can't wait for the day that I can move out of this house and say byebye to my mum!!

Since I was so bored at home and I can't do all of the things I mentioned above, I decided to spring clean my room, my cupboard, my drawers, to make room for more stuffs. And while going through all the stuffs inside, I found so many memorable stuffs. Its like walking down memory lane :)

Love letters from primary school, secondary school wtf. Presents, my rings (yes I have a lot :P), especially my favorite one which was still so shiny and still fits my finger. My necklace, I remember it being my favorite necklace last time and the pendant is very unique (a heart shape with 2 flowers, pink and purple at the side. I wanna wear it, but I'm scared the bf would mind? =/)  So instead of throwing them all away, I placed it one by one back into my drawers. So much for trying to clean things up. LOL

And I finally got to eat at dai lou's new japanese restaurant in Menjalara with the ex college mates.
Its called Kiraku Japanese Restaurant.
Address: Ground Floor, Plaza Menjalara, No. 1, Jalan Menjalara Idaman, Bandar Menjalara, 52200 Kuala Lumpur,

*So much foood yummmy!* I forgot the names of the food already haha sorrry :P

For me, I thought the food there was good! As in up to my expectations. It definitely taste much much much better than Sakae Sushi. If wanna compare with Zanmai, I would say it has equal standards. Price wise, for me it was okay because most of the Japanese Restaurants I go to would be priced about the same. Definitely cheaper than Edo Ichi ok! Edo Ichi is the most expensive Japanese Restaurant I've been to! I would prefer this restaurant anytime. Kla I'm helping to promote abit ma since it belongs to Dai Lou! :D

So, if you guys are bored of going to the same old Zanmai or Senjyu or Umaiya or whatever, why not give this place a try? :)

I will definitely be going back a few times to bring the bf along with me :)

And as usual, Fridays will always be dinner dates with the bf. My plan was to go to Paradigm to look for a pair of wedges that I saw in 1U but didnt have my size there so I was gonna check out the outlet in Paradigm. We had no idea where to have dinner yet.

Manatau I saw a banner that said '20% discount Opening Promotion at D Italiane Kitchen'. Hehe how could anyone resist that right?

Our conversation when we were sitted at the restaurant waiting for our food ~

Mun: Eh sorry la I tot wanna save money and eat something cheap like KFC one. Buthen D Italiane Kitchen 20% discount worr.. Don't eat very wasting!! Right right?

Hou: Ya right, someone said wanna eat Plan B just now one.

Mun: Got meh, where got. I was just saying ni. I memang wana eat KFC one =P

Haahaha. Ok la but the bill was really damn cheap. For all the food we ordered below, the bill only came up to rm60+ like wtf so cheap?! So its worth la right? :D Discounts like these do not come everyday one ok. So when the opportunity comes, must faster grab it first :P

*Calzone, Baked 3 cheese, and Mushroom Soup*
It was a really really really satisfying dinner!! So much for trying to diet. I promise to diet from Sunday to Thursday every week and let myself eat whatever I want on Fridays and Saturdays!!

I even have a daily diet plan ok. Morning drink oats and eat fruits for breakfast. Lunch eat like normal but cut down on carbs. Dinner vege only. No carbs!! Oh and must eat dinner before 6.30pm! Haha hopefully the next time when I step on the weighing scale, I will be happy with the number that I see :P

*Yamcha last week and I finally got to try the famous Burger Kaw Kaw*

Omg it was so so so sooo goood!!! Its fried chicken thigh with beef bacon, and cheese and lettuce and onions. I'm so going back for moarrrrr!! :D
Shared this burger with dear but he let me have most of it cause he saw how much I loveeee it with every bite I took hehehehe.

*Right after the burger, we went to Williams Corner to have Mozzarella Cheese Naan and Strawberry Special* It was goood but for this two, it costed rm22. Wah quite expensive lo.

And I can't wait for my next trip to Singapore with the bf. It will be our first trip for 2013. And yes he promised me, more to come for this year. Hehe actually he was more excited than I am la. He kept asking me to plan on where to eat where to go in Singapore. So yeah this time I'm in charged of planning our whole trip cause he is still busy with his FYP. I'll give him a break from being a planner for once :)

He is so sweet to drive me down to JB for my placement because I said if he dont fetch me down, I'll be taking a bus. And he said NO WAY. Die also dont let you take bus, so dangerous. Awww.. :)

Then he will be staying for 3 days and we will be in Singapore everyday hehehehe cant wait! I already listed down all the food that I wanna bring him to! But after that 3 days, he will be going back up without me and me no bf for a month :( Boooooo

Oh and tomorrow pork noodles with Cher and Hou at ss15 then pyramid shopping! Haha if anyone sees me tomorrow, please act as if you dont know me cause I just straightened my hair today and it looks freaking flat and straight and ugly. It will need one week to look nice. Haha so please hope I dont bump into anyone tomorrow LOL

Summary of 2012

2012 had been a great year for me. It was probably the best year among my whole 22 years of life. It was a year full of new challenges, new experiences and fun. There was only one down/bad part of my life.

2 life changing events of 2012:

  • The largest and most significant event of 2012 was no doubt me leaving to New Zealand to pursue my studies. It was my dream to ever study abroad. I do not regret leaving but me leaving led me to a level of different thinking. I grew up i guess. I got more independent, learning to do everything and surviving on my own. I got more patient and calm too i guess. Especially when it comes to me being back home. I learned that i have limited time with my loved ones back home n so, i really appreciate every single opportunity to be happy and to appreciate the time spent with all. This is probably why some people said i do not get aggravated that easily anymore. Having spent half a year abroad, i learned that home is always the best despite the issues going around the country. As much as a foreign country can offer, nothing beats home. Nothing feels more familiar, loved, happy and contented as home. I wouldnt be surprise if i choose to come back to Malaysia at the end of my degree, all to be closer to home, to my loved ones, and the land i was born and raised.
  • Next is the sudden change in my relationship. It was unexpected for me and for all to know that i hop into a new relationship so quickly and so suddenly. There was guilt in me, but i know that i cannot let go of this rare chance of me being with him. It of course was a huge decision to be made. Single, or to be with him but to be involved in a LDR. My decision was obvious. However, LDR sucks. It really is a big challenge for us. 20% of this LDR done, and i have 80% more to deal with. It is never going to be easy and it is just going to be tougher. But im sure we will be able to do it, as long as none of us give up on each other.
Trips:
  • 3x Penang as a tourist. Life gotta be awesome.
  • Lost World of Tambun
  • Janda Baik
  • Genting
  • Melaka
  • Singapore twice
  • Pangkor
  • Seremban twice
  • New Zealand (duh)
  • Queenstown
  • Auckland (counted i guess, although it was just a night)
Activities:
  • Paintball for the 1st time
  • Rock climbing for the 1st time and went back again
  • Bukit Tabur again and again and still loving it
  • Hot spring
  • Clubbing for the 1st time of my life. And clubbed twice in penang.
  • Sunway Lagoon (kinda counted)
  • 1st time skiing
  • Gym became my new hobby in NZ
  • IMU ball, formal event in Malaysia
  • Demi Grad, formal event in NZ
  • 1st time swimming in deep sea without life jacket
  • 1st rave party
  • chopped my hair again
  • fell in love with banana leaf rice
  • 1st banana boat ride
It was also the 1st year of me doing nothing for Xmas and New Year, not even on the eves. I spend like 15 mins at Curve, just to watch the fireworks and thats all. It was also the year of me spending MOST money besides my education. Bought new perfume, specs, bag, clothes, macbook, camera, iPad and shoes. It is time to stop. N now, im even thinking of buying the new iphone or not. i wanted to get it cus i know my phone might not last till end of 2013. but now, maybe i should just use until its dead before i get a new phone.

I have only 3 resolutions for 2011 and i hope i will stick to it!

  1. To appreciate the things i get, be grateful and not to ask for more.
  2. To do well in my studies, much better than 2010 and not to repeat the same old mistakes.
  3. To do less shopping and i am gonna try my hardest best to stop shopping for uni clothes or new year clothes or whatever. i have been shopping too much and i think i have more than enough clothes. resolution no.1 remember! appreciate and not ask for more! so dont ask me to go shopping please!!
k make it 4 resolutions cus the 4th will be

SAVE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My resolutions last year. I think i kinda achieved No.2 only! hahaha... and No.1 la. i am definitely grateful and appreciative but im not too sure bout asking for more. so this year, im just gonna keep it simple.

To be grateful, appreciate everything i have in life, appreciate my family and him and to get good results.

I think i should be able to do this. haha..

So, 2012 was actually SO DAMN GOOD to me. i hope 2013 will be good too. with more new experiences, more memories and more trips perhaps? haha. but there is one thing that i dread. The day of me leaving again. The pain, the wait. SOOOOO painful =( and the time difference just make everything much worse.

till then, hope all had a great 2012 and a better 2013. Lets work harder to achieve all the good in life.

A new year

So how was my NYE celebration? Hmm I would say not what I would expect it to be. I wouldn't say it was the worst NYE celebration ever cause I can hardly remember how I celebrated it for the past 5 years. I would probably say not the best though.

Happy things first. I have a new Thomas Sabo Charm! Given by daddy for my new year present. Hehe.

New addition to my Thomas Sabo bracelet. Hehe thankieww daddy!

I promise this will be my last charm. I don't want anymore la cause I realize its damn expensive for such a small item plus if I have more than 3 charms, the rest would be like behind the back of my hand so no one can see also haha. So dont waste money d.

We had no proper plan for NYE cause Hou was busy with his FYP and I wanted to find other plans which did not involve him but unfortunately couldn't find any in such a short period of time. So at last we decided to have a simple dinner together. Which we took quite long to decide on where to eat cause he doesnt want to go to anywhere "crowded". Thats impossible lo. Hey please its NYE ok. Where do you think wont be crowded. Which resulted in a small arguement between us but quickly resolved just cause I didn't wanna argue with him on NYE and spoil all the mood.

Decided to have dinner at Chilis @ Empire. There was a long queue and we were told that waiting time would be approximately 30 minutes. But lucky us, we waited less than 5 minutes for our table as there was only 2 of us. Others who came earlier than us had to wait longer cause they were in a large group. HAHAHA :P

*Ordered one starter and 2 main course*

Hehe I was so super hungry cause mum starved me for 3 days at home ok!! No proper meals for 3 days cause she was lazy to cook!!

After dinner, we went over to Sector 7 @ Setia Walk, Puchong for drinking sessions with his friends. 12 of us, ordered a package worth rm650 , 4 towers of beer, a tower of long island tea, and 1 flaming Lamborghini.

*Our Long Island Tea*

When we arrived, the long island tea and 1 tower was already at our table. And that two was gone in like 20 minutes. Then we just sat there and stone cause of lack of alcohol so none of us was high to do stupid stuffs yet. It was BORING. Like seriously. We kept complaining about why our other towers haven't arrive but after waiting for like 3 hours, after the countdown after everything, the towers didnt come. LIKE WTF MAN.

It was wayyyyy past my curfew so I decided to leave cause its just a waste of time sitting there doing nothing waiting for our towers. Hou had to send me home. and i was told that the minute we left, the 3 towers came. LIKE WTF AGAIN. All the fun started after I left ok. NYE, no boost no alcohol no fun nothing. The rest drank my share of beer babi!! HMPHHH!

So yeah now you know why it sucked for me :(

Summary of my 2012:

  • Had my first experience studying overseas. Best 6 months of my entire life and I would give up anything to be back in Melbourne again.
  • Learnt to be more independent in a lot of ways.
  • Went for the most holidays in a year. Sydney, Gold Coast, Penang and Ipoh, Kuching, Cambodia, Cameron.
  •  Made it through my 3rd year degree course. Crossing my fingers for the last year.
  •  First time working as a pharmacist in a government clinic, first time counseling and talking to patients, which was fun when they really listen and appreciate whatever that I'm doing :)

Haha thats all that I can remember for now. But its not really important anyway because we should look forward right!

I made 2 resolutions for 2012 which were:

-Study harder and at least maintain my results - yes I managed to do that :)
-Slim down - nope didnt succeed! But it will be in my this year's resolution!

And so my new year resolutions for this year would be :

  • GRADUATE!! I MUST GRADUATE BY END OF THIS YEAR!! *crossing fingers*
  • Get a job (hopefully in Seremban Hospital) and be financially independent (I have to do my housemanship with the government for 2 years so I guess this is already secured)
  • Join a gym and lose weight!! Gonna be joining one with Hou soon. To make me slim and to make him buff. (which leads to my next resolution)
  • Make Teh Sze Hou fat and buff by end of the year!! He is just too skinny la!!
  • TRY to change on my weakness - be less ego, less stubborn, more independent
  • Be less attached to Hou. I should hang out with my friends more and stick to him less! Must have a balance between friends and bf.
  • Go to at least one paradise island before I graduate. Krabi? Lang Tengah?

 I guess thats it.

Hopefully when I look back at my resolutions next year, I would succeed in doing most of it :)
