Another month

Its another month again. Happy 27th month darling :) Hopefully you like the present I gave you, I'm sure it was a surprise to you right? :P

 We dont usually celebrate it every month. But this month, the boy decided to buy me a gift and brought me out for a good dinner.

He had been hinting me many many times about this little gift that he said was 'big in size, but small in value'. And every single day, I was wondering what the hell can it be other than a soft toy?! Which was wrong T.T

Yesterday, I finally saw my gift. This boy bought me a big pillow. Just cause one day, I was randomly telling him bout how thin and not nice my pillow was at home, and how I had to sleep on double pillows every night because mine is too thin. Just that random talk that I was telling him, and he really bought me one. Awwwww :)

He said 'Hoping my gift is useful for you. and also hope it can help ease off some of your insecure tension nowadays.'

It did. I used it for the first time last night, and I overslept today morning. And cause of that, I missed my morning classes LOL. Thanks dear for making me sleep so soundly till I couldn't hear my alarm hahahaha.

He also made me a mini message card.

WHERE GOT PEOPLE DRAW TILL SO CUTE ONE OMG. I LAUGHED WHEN I SAW IT. And he said ' I took 3 hours to draw that funny man, which is me' HAHAHAHA OMG LAUGH DIE ME!!!

Dinner was at Las Carratas, Taipan. Before that, darling was like asking me to guess where's he bringing me for dinner. The only hint he gave me was Taipan. And I guessed it correctly on the first try. Damn, I'm so good. :P HAHA

2. Genting trip

From the whole gang, to only 4 of us that went. Dear was the driver as usual. And we both came home rm200 poorer :( Totally no luck at all!! But it was a fun fun night!! Never had such a big heart attack in my life when I saw Rick losing rm2.7k, and then winning it all back again. It was the most chee kik night of my life!!! We were in the casino until 5am just to teman him win back his money. Phew thank god he managed to....

Eventhough I had one of my acute cough attacks and dear told the whole table to shut up and dont talk cause Rick's joke was the one that started my attack LOL.

Updates!

I'm so lazy to blog nowadays ler. Because I dont like to write post without any pictures, and I dont like taking pictures with my old camera. Hence, no pictures, no blogpost :P 

Anyway updates! 

Firstly, I just got back from Bangkok a few days ago. And I was quite disappointed as I did not really buy alot of stuffs :( I only bought a total of 3 dresses, 2 tops, 1 wedges, and 1 flats. And I was left with extra money to bring home! Lol!! Really unexpected because I was thinking rm400 would definitely be not enough for me. 

The trip to Bangkok was nice, eventhough shopping did not meet my expectations. Had a nice hotel to stay at, had the sister who paid all my meals and transport fees :P And I had my first authentic Tup Tip Grub (Red Ruby) in Thailand!! It was as good as the one I always have in Strawberry Field, Taipan :) So I guess I'll be going back to Taipan more often for that. I'd actually gone back there so many times that darling wants to kill me already haahahhahahahahah.

And had Thai Mango Sticky Rice so many times and all was damn damn damn good!! Also had Thai food, which was damn good too. Basically, their food are damn good la!! 

But, as usual, whenever I go out on holidays, especially in countries with super hot weather, I always ALWAYS fall sick, on the last few days. Last time was Singapore, when I fell sick on the last day. And this time, it was the 2nd last day before we were supposed to leave, I had a bad sorethroat, cough headache, and was down with a fever :( And because of that, I wasted 2 whole days, staying in the hotel and sleeping :( Boo. I will learn my lesson from today onwards. No matter how heavy or how expensive water is, I must drink plenty of water!!!!

And I'm still coughing like crazy now, i feel like my lungs is gonna explode soon. Waiting for the super nice bf to deliver cough medicine to my house now because he's afraid im gonna cough till i die. LOL 


And also, our Redang trip is confirmed!!!!!!!!! Air tickets bought, hotel paid! Now, just waiting for the day to come. Thank you soooooo much dear!! For planning this whole trip, for calling up every single travel agency to ask for the best price and best deal, for doing everything you can to make this trip happen. Really thank you :) You know how much I've been dying to go for a beach holiday and you made it happened!! And also sponsored me this whole trip till your bank account went dry. I promise from now onwards, we are going on a budget! Hawker and mamak food only! Hahahaha I dont mind sacrificing that for my beach vacation :P


Lol I was half way writing this post when suddenly dear had the random plan to go yamcha with the gang at Asia Cafe. And yea thats why I'm here to continue this. And also during yamcha just now, we had another random idea to go up to Genting on Friday! Wheeeeee :D 

Seriously, we have been going up Genting so many many many times recently! This has got to stop!Lol 

Ok I'm writing a bunch of crap. Will be back to update when I get my new camera la. Which I hope is soon? :P Its decided. Canon G1X it is!

Urghh so angry now I swear I can explode into pieces. I tried my very best to keep my cool, I did not throw my temper, I did not scream and shout when I was blamed for something that I feel that I should not be blamed for.

You threw your temper at me again and again and again. The more I kept quiet, the more you threw your temper at me. When I tried to explain that it was all a misunderstanding, you insisted that it was MY FAULT, MY BAD PLANNING, MY STUPIDITY.

I never once pushed the blame to you, OR even said that I had nothing to do with it. I kept saying just a misunderstanding. You misunderstood me, and I misunderstood you, which ended up in us argueing. Instead of trying to work out on a better plan to counter our misunderstood plan, you chose to blame it all on me. Repeating that it was my fault.

You told me that you have your own temper too. How about me? Have u tried to understand me before throwing your temper? Our plans wasn't screwed up because I was out enjoying myself with my friends, shopping, eating etc etc. I was doing my fking quizzes in uni. I was running around 2 tutorial rooms, doing my assignment AND my quiz.

All you know how to say is 'I screw up your plan.' I got blamed for something that I could not predict. I got blamed because I had to fetch my brother to tuition. I got blamed because my bro has tuition at that odd timing. What sense is this?

and im back :)

its been erm.. more than 4 months since i last blogged. haha. i think it doesnt matter cus mun and hou might the only 2 reading this blog. and since im sooooo nice (irk) i will just write something for both of you to read hahaha!!

its been (finally) 2 months since i got back to NZ, im pretty much used to the life here again. its all about uni and study and clinic and classes and gym (not very often because its so far away and im so lazy to walk there). it is really quite here, but its peaceful and safe and relaxing here. i love it most when i walk back from gym alone. its just, dark and quiet. its like im having the whole area to myself, and i can just be lost in the world of my own thoughts.

been partying quite abit since i got back. and i am finally proud to announce that i will stop all these partying, and TRY to focus on my studies. oh well it wasn't exactly partying, it was just birthday after birthdays and it was endless, as much as i didnt feel like going i had no choice. isnt nice to not attend when we are quite close to the person right.

n yes photos! i swear. New Zealand is DAMN pretty! omg... so in love with the sceneries here. its a damn good place to relax. just forget about everything and get close to nature. no wonder people here have such long lives. but despite this country being so beautiful and peaceful and safe, it still isnt the country that i want to settle down in yet. maybe one day, when i plan to retire.

we went for this 10km trek (3 hours in total) and by the time we reached the top, the glacier was just in front of us (not directly but opposite it). it was the highlight of my Wanaka trip. love the trek so long. we had to walk along this river, and then through this flat lane where the sheep and cows were next to us, literally! and then into the mini forest and to the tip. it felt alot like LOTR. like a group of people walking thru bare land and into the forest.

next time, im gonna go for the glacier walk. to walk on the glacier. but it isnt going to be cheap. it will cost $200 easily.

we bought one whole salmon one fine day, fillet it and we had sashimi for dinner. i even used the bones for salmon miso soup. SO DAMN GOOD. the salmon was so oily that it melted in my mouth. although i had one quarter of the fish it still wasn't enough for me. next time, im gonna have half for myself!

i think im having this love hate relationship with NZ. i love it that its peaceful, i love having all the time for myself here, i love walking back on the dark street ALONE, n to get lost in the world of my own thoughts. but i also hate it that i feel empty and lonely here. i just want to be closer to the loved ones. i hate it that i can't just grab something to it when i feel hungry at 12am. yes i know, its hard to please me.

New camera soon?

So..... I'm planning to get a new camera. But I'm in a dilemma now on which model to get :(

Hou told me that he will splurge his 2nd pay on me. And its supposed to be arriving soon :P And so I decided that I wanted to use it on a new camera since my current one is already 4 years old and not functioning well.

But before buying a camera for me, he made me do something :( So bad. This was how our conversation went.

Hou: you want new camera, go do some research. Go find out which model is good, and which model you want. At least show me some initiative so that you will appreciate the camera that I get for you and know what is good about it.

Mun: HAR why you so mafan one?? You want me to write PROPOSAL for you meh??!

Hou: At least show me that initiative that you really want a camera. Dont after I buy already then you dont like it.

Mun: Dont like you. Hmph dont want to talk to you d.

Hou: -.- *shows me the what-did-i-do face*


So k fine. Now I'm stuck between Sony NEX 3 or Canon G1X. I'll probably go test out the camera myself before deciding. Hmmmm =/

Time, please pass slowly

I've always wanted to be done with all this studying crap, get out of Uni, start work and shift out of the house. I've always hated stress, assignments, tests, and exams. But now, when I'm in my final year, gonna be a graduate in 7 months, I just wish time would slow down.

I just want to enjoy my remaining 7 months in uni slowly, knowing that once I'm out at work, I will be all on my own. Haih, I know, its a process of growing up, but I just don't wanna leave my comfort zone :( I don't mind starting all over again, and going back to Year One la!!!!


Anyway, another thing that I wanna complain is about STUPID MONASH. Some brainless people decided to close down 100+ parking bays of ours for their development. 

Firstly, Monash always has parking issues. Theres never enough parking for all of us.
Then, they decided to remove the link bridge from Monash to the car park to make way for the new highway link to Kesas. We had to walk one BIG round from the parking under the hot sun or under the rain, without any shelter, crossing main roads in fear of getting our bags snatched. Fine, never mind we still keep quiet.

Now, they closed down 100+ parking bays to make way for more development??! Do you know that 100 parking bays make a hell lot of difference??!

Last time, by 10am, all parking bays will be filled so if you wanna get a space, come before 10, even though your classes are in the afternoon.

Now, the situation is just horrible. On the first day, I came at 9.30am, there was a few parking bays left. So on the 2nd day, I came even earlier at 9.10am, guess what? No more parking bays. And people are coming earlier and earlier everyday.

Monash told the students: Come earlier to get the parking.
Eh hello, use brains la. What is gonna happen if ALL the students come earlier?? Won't there be no parking left by 8am? Is that going to solve the issue by asking the students to come early?? BULLSHIT!!!

Another option: Park at Pyramid and walk through canopy walk. Thats the reason we built the canopy walk.
From Pyramid to Monash, it takes about 20 minutes to walk per way. Imagine carrying all your heavy books, laptops and walking EVERY SINGLE DAY back and forth!! No brains ah?! Why should we drive then??! Don't you all know how dangerous shopping mall's carparks are these days? If we have classes at 8am, we reach the mall parking at 7.30am , wont that be dangerous?? If anything happens, whos gonna be responsible??! 

Parking is a basic facility that should be provided by the uni to the students. We are paying a hell lot of money and you cant even provide us with basic facilities??! If you dont have such basic things, just close down your uni please.


So so angry at them. And today, they made me park at South Quay, which is 25minutes walk to Monash. Like wtf?! I gave them the look and said 'you expect me to park there and walk all the way?' . And he kept saying sorry to me so nicely that I felt bad if I continued scolding him =/ So at last, I called someone to come pick me up from the place which I parked so I don't have to walk HAHAHA. Thankieww ah boy :P


Ok enough of being angry. Now back to food matters :P

Remember in my last post, I was saying that Daves is my favorite restaurant ever after so long? Now, I take that back!! 

Remember in my last post I also mentioned how bad the pork knuckles was in Jarrods & Rawlins and how they did not have the deli there which made me super disappointed? 

Haha I now announced that my new favorite restaurant will be Jarrods & Rawlins (Jalan Ampang Outlet)!!!!!!

Dear took me to the Jalan Ampang outlet last week because I was freaking disappointed the previous week when we had the pork knuckles at Damansara outlet which was REALLY BAD.

We got lost multiple times, called up the restaurant multiple times before finding our way there. Its not easy to locate it you know. Its like in a very old small mall, and its facing the back. So from the main road, you wont be able to see it at all! 

When we finally reached, the first thing I wanted to do is to go look for the deli counter and when I spotted it, I was super happy!!

 Darling let me pick everything, so I took 1 pork belly, 1 lamb shoulder, and 3 different flavors of pork sausages and a side of fries. Haha I told him 'Can I just order anything I want and dont think about your wallet? Because I craved for this so long d leh. You dont let me eat until I satisfied I will get emo one leh!"

Lol and he said 'just order anything you want, its ok :)'
And so I said 'ok i promise we eat cheap food next week' 
(and that promise will be broken tomorrow because we are planning to eat at TGIF tomorrow. It was his suggestion, not mine!! The person who pays get to decide, so oh well :P)

Omg, seriously one bite, and I was totally in HEAVEN. I am not exaggerating. It was the exact feeling I had 1 year ago when Cher first recommended this place to me. Seriously, what would I do without you Cher?? Whos gonna tell me about all this awesome restaurants?? Hahaha

The difference with Daves is that, after eating Daves, it leaves me feeling satisfied with the meal. But after eating Jarrods, it makes me WANT MORE. and makes me want it IMMEDIATELY. Thats the difference!! I told him 'can we come back tomorrow?' LOL!!

We didnt even know how much to expect for the bill because everything is calculated by weight. So, its like the price is written per 100g, but we wouldn't know how heavy our meat will be, so we were expecting the bill to be at least rm100. But it only came up to rm73, including all the taxes and service charge.

We were like 'wtf so cheap??' Should have ordered more...@@


Oh and one more thing!! My DREAM came true!! I'm finally going to Bangkok for 4days!!!! And staying like right opposite Platinum Mall so I can just shop till I drop!! All expenses (except shopping la) paid by my beloved daddy! Omg love him super much!! I can't wait!!!!
Hopefully I don't come back broke :P Hahahaha super excited. I cant wait for that day to finally arrive! Bought my air tickets yesterday already wheeeeeeeeee :D
